Given the current offensive systems I don't see either QB being successful if swapped. It's a tough question to answer because the systems are pretty much designed around the strengths of the QB's. If you want to take a look into the future and try to assume how well Chad would do with a new OC and Vick would do with Shotty, that's near impossible too. Who is even the coach of the Falcons now? Who is the OC? I think Vick would be better than he is now with better receivers. I remember him doing very well in the pro-bowl he made with good receivers, and I think shotty would be able to adapt to his strengths well. Chad has proven that he can pickup a new offense very quickly but with no knowledge of the OC I can't really even begin to speculate. This is an interesting question though.
How can i possibly make an unbiased statement about this. I love Chad. Therefore, i am going to say with a bias i rather have Chad anyday of the week.

Had he had a sufficient running game to back himself up, he wouldn't have thrown that many INTs. All in all, Chad is a QB that Vick will just never be.
I agree about Hacket. The guy got a bum rap because he tailored the offense around Pennington. Schots doing the same thing, but with a bit more flare. You would expect that from a Madden generation OC though. I'm not sold on Vick though. I'd still take CP over him at this point in both there careers. So CP can't run for first down, big deal. He looks to get the ball in his playmakers hands first. Thats a QB's job. I'm not conviced Pennington will lead us to a SB win, but I do believe we have a better chance with him then with the most overated QB in the league.
It's funny to say that Vick should be a running back or receiver but get real. The guy has a rocket arm and he's too brittle to take a regular beating. Meanwhile, let's get back to the numbers comparison. You can look at Chad's INTs this year and say that he had to force the ball in certain situations or that the games were closer. The reality is that Coles and Cotchery made Chad look good all year. That's not to say that he didn't play very well but there were not many times this season where Chad put the ball right in a receiver's chest and the receiver blew the play. Now look at Vick. His main receiving target, Alge Crumpler, led the league in dropped passes. I'll list the sure-handed WRs Chad has thrown to since he showed up. Chrebet. Santana. Coles. Cotchery. Now I'll list the sure-handed WRs Vick has thrown to in his career as starter. Does someone have access to one of those pay sites that analyze weird stats like how many passes are catchable? Because I think Vick would surprise you.
