i dont exactly hate the superbowl. While i do have a great time at my friends annual superbowl party, and love the commercials, i find the superbowl to be very depressing. seeing the other team and their fans. I cant help but feel extreme jealousy and dissapointment. Just once, ONce, i would like to experience it If someone offered me tix to the superbowl and the jets were not playing i would decline without thinkng twice- would u
Although it would be our dream for the Jets to win the SB...I think seeing the jets in the superbowl would be so stressful it would make it hard to relax and enjoy the party.
How could you say that? I'll take a stressfull Superbowl with the Jets in it then a commercial filled party any day.
Don't get me wrong. So would i. But if the jets do make it, i can guarantee that it will be a high stress game for me. I will hate waiting for the opening ceremony, long halftime, and all that other crap and just want to watch the jets play. On a normal Super Bowl, I can just relax, not care much about the game and enjoy the festivities.
I agree dude...its a fuckin depressing game every year cuz we aint in it......although as soon as it ends, thats when the real depression sinks in
actually i want the SB to just go by...then every team is in the offseason and now we can finally start hearing news about what plans the jets have in store for us
I always make some bets on the super bowl and buy squares in a pool for the score at the end of quarters. That alone keeps me going if nothing else.

I get upset and jealous when I see teams other than the Jets in the Super Bowl. Especially in 04' and when the Patriots make it in. I always say "We had a legit shot at the Super Bowl :sad: " I mean, I watch the game, but you can't sit there and be upset as a Jets fan watching 2 other teams duke it out for the Lombardi Trophy.
I hate when I know people that are fans of teams in the Super Bowl. My fiance is from Chicago, and I just got back from business there a few weeks ago. I would love for them to lose, especially since I have bad mouthed them since the week we played them. They showed nothing then, and will show nothing today. I cant stand them so much, that I bet they win. Jealousy at its best!
i just don't like how in the superbowl, football is not the main focus it should be about an epic football game, not over the hill musical performers and having a different sponsor for each hour of the 6 hour pre-game show
dont know about yall but im going to the superbowl if i had a chance. if the jets are in it or not that has to be a once and a lifetime experience specially if its a good game. i love my jets but im also a hardcore football fan i could watch a football game if its good.
My poor dog....if we ever get to the Superbowl I am dipping her in food coloring and making her green! JETS in 2008!
