This is crazy. I could care less about the Redskins but they are driving up the market for every team in the NFL. They give average players HUGE amounts of money and that drives up the market for other free agents. They made Adam Archuleta the HIGHEST payed safety in the NFL. Enough said. Really think about that. He has one interception in two years!!!

wow, u really dont see them better than .500 this season. i live in MD so i'm used to the whole "jets suck skins kickass" thing, and since i moved her in 1999, the skins were going to win the superbowl each year. but u have to be reasonable, the skins have the 2nd best WR corp if not the 1st in the NFL. nothing is wrong with clinton portis, and as long as whoever their qb is can throw the ball half decently, they'll be fine. and yes i know they lost arrington but he sat most of last season anyway.
and their defense, well their defense is pretty damn good, i know they overpaid archuleta a ton but that doesnt change the fact that he's a pretty good safety. and also, going back to their offense, a lot of people think that signing randel el and trading for lloyd was stupid, but if u think about it, randel el and lloyd are pulling doulbe coverage away from moss making it easier for him to make a play. and if a team were to double cover him, lloyd and/or randel el are definitely capable of making a big play.
The Redskins will be a good team in 2006. Losing Lavar was actually like gaining something for them. Solid FA signings, I think they will be a Top 3 team in the NFC. Too early to tell though.
Well I don't honestly think the Skins will only win 6 games this year. I was being facetious. But I can see them missing the playoff's. We've seen this strategy blow up in their face before. They can stock pile all of the big names they want. That doesn't necessarily translate into any success on the field. And 2nd best WR Corps in the leauge? Come now, you don't honestly believe that do you? Lloyd and Randle El are above average receivers only. Neither of whom have ever had a 50 catch/1,000 year season between them. El was number 2 on the depth chart last year in Pittsburgh. You wouldn't know it by the numbers however. The 49ers have been waiting for Lloyd to emerge as any kind of force since they aquired him, yeah their QB situation sucked. But that doesn't explain his average speed, his inability to get any seperation and his crap personality. They have a good core of receivers now, but they aren't on the elite level like the Colts and Cards. Plus Brunell/Campbell throwing the rock? Pick your poison they both have huge question marks over their head.
Andre Carter isn't even that good though. They will still have a mediocre passrush, he's the equivalent of Phillip Daniels their other DE. Average at best.
Yeah it seems like a weird prediction, but I just have the feeling they could have a mediocre season. I don't have faith in Mark Brunell. How can you say they have the best recieving core in the NFL? Santana Moss is a breakout player. Brandon Lloyd is solid and Randle El is solid. I'd say top 15 maybe...
