Chiefs | J. Henderson works out with team Sat, 27 Jan 2007 20:45:29 -0800 Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports free agent CB Jamie Henderson (Jets) worked out with the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. I wish Jamie Henderson all the luck in the world. If any team in the NFL will give him a contract, it would be Herm and the Chiefs. We'll see if it happens. I am glad to see he made a full recovery atleast.
Me too. I just changed it to be specific. I hope all is good for Jamie. It's staggering to see him come this far. Good luck to him!
Forgot about Donnie Henderson. I just thought the title was cool with 2 H's. Anyway, I am glad to see he is getting to atleast work out for a team.
I definitely hope for Jamie's sake this works out for him. No one deserves it more after going thru what he did.
I go to school in the town Jamie Henderson is from (Carrollton, GA). My manager at work goes to the same church with him and said that he has fully recovered. She said that he is mentally slower and his speach is messed up. I wish him the best of luck but I doubt he can make a comeback.
I hope he gets another shot, one thing about Herm is that he is the king of loyalty and 2nd chances to players, I suppose good to have in the leauge, just not for my team
As mediocre a coach as Edwards is, there is no disputing that, in general, he's a great guy. He has really high moral standards and holds everyone to them
I think jamie eventually would have been a starter and a good starter at that, he had all the tools. I wish him well and I am glad the Jets as an organization helped him out.
Best of luck to him. The following is an article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about his accident. An interesting coincidence about it is that it came out exactly one year before Ben Roethlisberger's accident. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05163/520196.stm
This thread should not of been moved in my opinion. Jamie Henderson was a Jet and people care about how he is doing. He hasn't signed anywhere else yet, so I would consider this Jets news.
I still remember that hit he laid on Bettis... stopped him cold... Damn... wish him all the best, and hope he makes the squad... "I will cheer for you Spanyard" Ellis
