Bunch of player props... went with Jags w/over parlay... took 49'ers w/ over Lost on the Panthers... but got a win with Bears/over
What would've been bad about a 10-3 lead for the Jags? Gift points too after the turnover by Buffalo. Instead they got stuffed, got no points off the turnover and it's been all Buffalo since.
Whenever I see teams get int. now a tipped pass, a DB jumps a route or whatever I can't help but think man the Jets didn't get one of these all season long. That is something that will never happen again I think.
Where's Bryan Thomas Jr. today? When the Jets played the Jaguars I got sick of hearing his name. He caught the TD today but that's about it.
Why? They're only down 1 score. Teams go down the field in seconds these days against these late game prevent Ds and BS calls by the refs. But I hope you're right.
It's amazing to me how often receivers are wide open in these situations where a team needs to drive the length of the field to get a win. Why are DCs seemingly powerless to prevent these gigantic chunk plays?
No one plays any defense at the end of these games. It doesn't matter what the defensive ranking is. All the same. If the offense needs a fg or a TD they go right down the field in no time at all. The defense looks helpess to stop it.
I absolutely despise these plays where guys get carried forward for yards by their teammates. That used to be illegal, and I think them changing that rule was a terrible decision.
Sickening. If only the Jaguars HC had kicked the fg when the score was 7-3 to make it 10-3. The game would've been tied and gone to OT. That and not playing any defense at the end. Jaguars were good, they had a good season. I was rooting against Buffalo. Sucks.
Another great game. Tony Romo: "My heart hurts for Jacksonville." Fck you, Tony. My heart hurts for no man. I'm a Jets fan.
Between these plays, virtual first down measurements, replay assist, the league actively promoting gambling, the current broadcast landscape of the league, and all of the rest of it, they are really destroying the game of football.
It's a shadow of itself. It's like all the unnecessary computer crap in cars that I can't stand. Bells and whistles that cater to the abject laziness of people and the guts of the car suck.
