I counted 23 players on the depth chart that I think I want back next year. (including injured reserve)

That leaves 30 new players and draft picks.

    Pretty incredible number.

Bill Parcells took a 1-15 team and turned them around to 9-7. He added a couple veteran players to help instill his philosphy through the team, but for the most part it was the same roster. I refuse to believe our players are as awful as they’ve looked. Good coaches elevate players. We absolutely have room for roster improvement, but if a guy like Andy Reid, either Harbaugh, mcVay, etc were coaching past year there’s no chance we’d be as bad as we looked. We started week one looking like a competitive team against PIT and completely devolved from there game by game. Glenn took over an avg team and drove them to disaster.

Oh I remember 1997 very well. We held Barry Sanders to like 40 yards in the first half and I thought we were heading to the playoffs and then all I remember is the Lions carrying him off the field on their shoulders.

If I remember correctly, some guy on the Lions also basically broke his neck and ended his career.

WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE 10-6 :)

The problem is AG will be our coach next year and no one has a clue who our quarterback is going to be yet.

With our schedule and the guys in place running the team and coaching the team, I can't imagine we get any more than six wins next year ... best case scenario. probably five, maybe four.
