    Remember when even when the offense was horrible, the Jets had a head coach who knew how to coach a defense and so kept the team in it? Well I'm sure Saleh is laughing his head off in San Francisco.

    The two best eras in Jetdom, their coaches were weeb ewbank and bill parcels (yea, Ryan had some good seasons but I have reservations about how much he was responsible for, and his zero success after bore that out). Anyway, those guys were proven, championship winning, successful NFL coaches. It’s not rocket science. And I’d absolutely give Gruden a shot.

    Bingo. Send a message. Put the backups in for the second half, because the guys on the field with perhaps a couple of exceptions don't give two sh*ts and are essentially stealing a game check today.
