I wouldn't even know who YOU are if you didn't spend 10 hours a day on the same subjects trying to spin and prove your agenda, wrong or not. Does TBJ or Jabba do this - No. These guy have articles written and their Writing and what they bring to the table stands on its own.
I have to say I'm really enjoying junc's new schtick. He's ascended to the champ level where it's alot more fun to just egg him on and watch people lose their minds trying to talk with him. I'll confess I don't get the fascination with Jabba the Jet though. The only thing he posts about is the draft and his posts have the frenetic tone of a madman raving on a street corner.
Alright, if TBJ really wants to not be in this, I'll remove him, and put on junc. Sorry junc I go through a lot of nominations and I sometimes miss people.

No offense to you guys...but this is kinda embarassing to all of you. I know some of you are trying to be the bigger man about it, and i respect that. And perhaps i dont know the gravity of these awards because...im just a rookie. I haven't been part of these awards yet, but from what i understand this is just a fun thing to do at the end of a season, and not meant to hurt anyones feelings or give people something to brag about. Next year, I think it should be a silent voting so noones votes are influenced by other people and voters will choose who they really feel is the most knowledgable or whatever the award is. Just accept the voting options...the mods shouldn't have to worry about people complaining they do enough already and vote. That's all. This is a Jets forum where everyone should be looking to give everything they know and absorb what everyone else has to offer. The awards should not be what is important to you.

Just got a PM from TwinJet as to whether or not I wanted out. Two days ago, not only did I want out, I was contemplating whether or not posting here had become more aggravation than it was fun anymore. I just deleted a long diatribe about all of this. In short, I've elected to stay in the voting..... and decided I'll continue to post about whatever I please, whether or not some small number of detractors like it or not. Frankly, I didn't want negative posters to become "empowered". That did appear to be on the agenda. I like Kurt's suggestions for next year. We don't need a presidential election.... just some awards for people who make good contributions to the site. Recognition for good posters is great. I think that's the intent here, but it's gotten quite muddled in the interim. I think we can spread out the appreciation of good posters out in the future without declaring a "winner".
Great post... don't let a few negative posters drive you away from the site... some people just take this stuff a little too seriously.. good to see that your staying

It's like stepping in shit..... you don't see it coming.... until you hear the skwish. Then, you start cleaning off your sneakers, and find out they have a crack in 'em. Then, you end up with a new pair of sneakers all because you stepped into a pile of shit! So, you think I plopped my foot down on a pile of shit on purpose! No, I just got new sneakers. But.... I kinda like the idea of being so calculating and brilliant.... just might go with that!
yea that was me.....im somewhat humbled by the results thus far, however i cant say i am as enthusiastic about his knowledge as everyone else is...sorry to say but hey congrats so far
