Not sure if this has been said but aparently McNabb is unhappy in Philly. If he gets released (which I highly doubt will happen), should we make a move for him? I personally think he'd be a great fit, and we could get something nice for Pennington. Don't worry I'm not hating on Pennington, this is about McNabb.

I think it would be an extremely bold move to cut or trade McNabb right now. But think about it. Garcia deserves to have his name in the hat for a starter, if not for Philadelphia then for another team. I believe he has earned his way to be a starter over the years. Of course, anyone could argue that it was only 8 games that he started for Philadelphia but they were all productive games for him. And he has taken the SF 49ers to the playoffs before.

I am a little critical of McNabb due to the amount of balls that he throws to guys' knees and feet. Great player without a doubt, but I think he will stay in Philadelphia at least until his contract has expired.

What I read was that IF McNabb was traded away, potential landing spots for him include Minnesota or Tampa Bay. Those same two teams were linked to Jeff Garcia with free agency.

Pennington had a great season this year. As long as he stays healthy and continues to produce he will be the starter for our NYJ.

Garcia is 37. Eagles will not get rid of McNabb unless they are overpaid, as in 3 first round picks. McNabb is the face of that franchise.

I absolutely hate the Eagles(because im also a Giants fan) but respect the hell out of McNabb. He gets treated like trash by Philly fans(what a shocker) and theyre(fans and local media) constantly talking about trying to replace him and anytime some backup QB for the eagle shows a little sign of life, they start saying "make Aj Feely/ Mike McMahon/ Jeff Garcia/Detmer the permenant starter." I've been saying for the past 4 yrs, McNabb should ask to be traded to Detroit where they will worship the ground he walks on if he even gets them to the playoffs.

No way. I don't think the FO would like to have 2 injury prone QBs.

They're not letting him go and I wouldn't want him if they did...

He's an injury machine who can't win the big one... and the last drive to the superbowl is all you really need to remember

I'd rather gouge my eyes out. He's more injury prone than Chad.

I'd take him a millisecond for like a 5th conditional/3rd rounder...then we'd have chad restructure to better reflect the salary of a backup and voilah, we have the best 1-2 QB punch in football -when mcnabb goes down around week 12-14, chad has a fully rested arm and an 8 game season.

...and then *poof* i woke up
