that’s what fucks me up about the whole thing though It’s always the black fathers that are a problem. Archie Manning and Jack Elway both 100% disrespected the game for their sons. It was unprecedented. They weren’t a problem but Deion is The shit they said about tigers dad, you mention the Balls in basketball, now you have LeBron and Deion going through the wringer with their kids. A father wanting the best for his kid is a good thing, they should back the fuck off these guys
Agree. I should have been more careful with wording too. Deion knows football (Lavarr does not know basketball; and if he did he wouldn't have put Lonzo in his shoes)
I’ll join you from the other side: Sanders will not be a quality NFL QB. I’ve watch him since Jackson St. and I don’t think he has the tools to be successful in the pros. I actually think Kyle McCord from Syracuse is better. Sanders may get to start and maybe even win a few games, but he’s not a difference maker and is no where near being a franchise guy. Ok so you’re not alone putting your credibility on the line
As was Shedeur. This is the NFL, there are not 32 men in the word that can play the position at an elite level. They don’t care about anything other than whether this kid can play or not. They don’t think he has elite skills and he went in the 4th. Wtf?!? Black QB’s, white QB’s, no one gives a shit anymore. Can you bring us a championship is the only answer teams want. Cam Newton is one of the strangest most arrogant mofo’s on the planet, he went 1st overall based on his physical talents. Physical talents that Shedeur does not possess.
All good here my friend. No issues on my end regarding your position. But he put up 1st/2nd round grade performance in college and Jets who missed playoffs for the past 13-14 years refused to burn a 4th rounder on him. But we shall see.
In your mind. The Browns met with Dillon Gabriel as one of their top 30 visits, along with Shedeur, Carter, Hunter all on the same day. They had another private meeting with Gabriel, they worked with Gabriel in the Senior Bowl. They like him better, and still they hedged their bets with Shedeur. But make no mistake they considered Dillon a better prospect. Period
Balls? They drafted an avg sized, avg armed, avg physical gifts dude in the 4th round. I’m sure some other team was coming in soon behind him since that was likely the grade teams had on him.
Ya if Sanders turns out to be great, we will forever be chastised for not taking him in the 4th, or 3rd, or 2nd, or even the #7 overall. But we can say the same about 2 or 3 other players we passed on who turn out to be great. End of the day, the draft is a huge crap shoot, so we take players we think we can build a team around NOW. And hope/pray that only the players we draft turn out to be great! Plus, F that whiney bitch
He really didn't though. His arm strength isn't on par with ANY starting QB in the league this upcoming year. I'll stand on that all day. Also, fuck this thread, I still think Justin Fields will be a FQB. Can't wait to find out.
Not so - Namath may have been a cocky player but always was a humble guy. No one who knew him or met him ever would have called him an egotistical bastard.
We still have Jordan Travis to develop if he is over his injury. Also, Brady Cook has signed via UDFA a running QB by the looks of it.
it's not one thing for me. It's the combination of the entire circus that comes with him. His interviews I've seen are all terrible. In addition, he has a slender build and I don't think he's that good honestly - https://m.youtube.com/shorts/L6TpcejucHY https://m.youtube.com/shorts/tZpnJNDAv3o https://m.youtube.com/shorts/0Bn3NYyhVlI https://m.youtube.com/shorts/Cgux50Ta02g https://m.youtube.com/shorts/RrC0I2nS8JA
Yep. I lam still hopeful about Jordan Travis if he overcomes his injury. But not really counting on it as it was a brutal injury and looks like he still has some ways to go. But I loved the Brady Cook pickup. How come he did go undrafted? Very surprising. Calling our football experts to chime in.
