You remember when we had Zach Wilson? We knew he sucked, we could see it clear as day. Yet the media was constantly going on about how great he is, how we were the reason he sucked, every excuse other than recognizing he sucks…. This is the same. Shadeur is not that good, he and his dad know how to work the media machine and generated a ton of hype on him. He’s exactly what the media wants, drama in real time. But the NFL execs are like the Jets fans with Wilson. They know the truth, and they don’t think the headaches of the machine that comes with Shadeur are overshadowed by his meager physicality.
