I would hope Aaron Glenn would be able to figure out who the best available CB is. Of course, Joe Douglas was the "OL Guru" and our offensive line sucked the entire time he was here ... so who knows?
I like what I'm seeing from Azaree'h Thomas. Physically dominate, good in press, and looks very solid in man. Sounds like an AG guy to me.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact, having a guy like Cooper on the roster could help kids like Corley. There's also the 6/1 cuts coming as well so for once, time is our friend when it comes to stocking the groceries (Parcells reference).
I like the pick and second that I'll default to Glenn's best judgement specifically here, but I'm also admittedly biased as Florida St guy Nah, currently I'd bet on their past history guy Josh Reynolds actually being the one to see that type of volume assuming he stays healthy. And Taylor is hopefully out new #2. Lazard will likely be re-buried again sooner rather then latter.
I feel like there are some really good WR left for us tomorrow. We got to take a shot there I think, right? I hope we will have some options in rd 4.
I’d expect as a former scout and former CB himself, Aaron Glenn knows what he’s doing in that department. I’d expect this kid’s gonna be pretty darn good.
I never really look too deep into that stuff in my personal draft analysis to be honest. I don’t give a shit how you look running a cone sprint or 40 without shoulder pads in a drill you’ve specifically trained to do well in for 3.5 months. I care about what your speed looks like on tape. With that being said, I’m harsh on him because I’m also big on college production and he’s been a productive player his entire (short) career. So we’ll see. Rooting for him but still an uninspiring pick IMO.
Agreed but still would like to see us get another defensive lineman. Trading that extra 3rd for Reddick was an egregious mistake.
I like how everyone was torn on which of the 2 Iowa St. WR's was better and Houston was just like we'll take both
Yeah not sure what WRs worth a 4th will still be there when we pick. Pegues from Old Miss or Walker from Kentucky are big DTs who might still be around. Walker is a giant and has played all across the line. The kid from Old Miss is also versatile and has played some snaps for the offense.
