The current Steelers FO may know "talent", but do they know how to put an offensive coaching staff and system in place that is actually capable of producing better them bottom 1/3 tier passing game production? The last decade track record would lean heavily towards suggesting that to be a no. Fields and Arthur Smith wasn't a good fit going in to that trade they made. You could probably even make the argument Fields actually over-performed his bad fit projection.
I think Rodgers getting rid of the ball in 2 seconds for most of the season masked our OL better than Zach Wilson ever did. I think we’re questionable at RG, RT, and C.
Reminds me of the year before the Darnold, Allen etc. draft class. Some people were saying to wait for that golden QB class don't draft a QB. The Chiefs traded up for Patrick Mahomes. I understand what you're saying about this move but it's not resonating with me because of what we had at the position because of how it ended with Rodgers. I'm not excited about Fields or a low risk signing at qb. Rodgers is perfect for the Steelers he shook off the rust in 2024 now he'll be extra motivated in 2025 he could have one of the best seasons of his career. The Jets gave up on him too soon.
The Steelers are the Steelers. They're always good even when they're 'bad' they're not that bad. It'll be interesting if Rodgers ends up there. The Jets and Steelers swapped QBs. Which organization knows what they are doing more the Steelers or the Jets? DON'T LAUGH it's a serious question. Steelers and Jets is a home game in 2025 I gotta start saving the pennies for that one unless moron Woody gives away that game to London.
