Really? What do you think the one titled National Football League is for?

You know as well as I do that any draft related thread started in that forum will end up here, so just give it up. This argument is even too pointless for you to pursue.

I disagree with your first point but that's okay; it's not really important. The most remarkable thing about it is that you think you can tell me what I should respond to.

You should also re-word all of your posts differently.

I mean, a bunch of those guys are career backups, there's not much to resurrect, but I would take a flyer on a few. I've been high on Bailey Zappe as a backup since before he was drafted, he's an accurate spark player that doesn't turn the ball over much and I think can win games in a pinch.

Basically a young version of Mike White.

For the journeyman spot (assuming Rodgers is gone), I would kick the tires on Fields, Mariota, Wentz, Dobbs and Winston, maybe a couple of others. I don't want them drafting a QB before the 4th round until the 3rd year of the regime. In my perfect world, they have to prove themselves worthy of drafting an early QB.

I enjoy making a thousand trades and having 800 future picks but limited myself to one trade which was 7 and 109 for 19,53,84 and 2026 #2. Per the JJ chart and taking the future pick as midish round and discounting half, the trade was actually about right which many times these aren't. Anyway here is what I got:

    19.
    Josh SimmonsOT Ohio State
    42.
    Jonah SavaiinaeaOT Arizona
    53.
    J.T. TuimoloauEDGE Ohio State
    84.
    Omarr Norman-LottDT Tennessee
    92.
    Dorian StrongCB Virginia Tech
    146.
    Luke LacheyTE Iowa
    157.
    Jeffrey BassaLB Oregon
    188.
    Ty HamiltonDT Ohio State
    210.
    Craig WoodsonS California

2026 TB 2nd. Wanted/like getting something higher since we lose our third next year.

Where we are, I first want to strengthen the lines and did so. Gaining a RT and player with positional versatility . AVT making 15 million guaranteed means it is likely his last year. In longer seasons (soon 18 regular?) depth is going to matter. Our drop from starter to sub has been steep. Added depth at edge or in a sub package. We lose a lot at DT so using cheaper draft picks to rebuild there and Norman-Lott improves the size in middle. Wanted a safety or two but one never appeared at relative value so just kept building. In real life, there will be holes after the draft and there are here but this is a multi year process. If AR/DA hang on for another year, I think this helps you compete and if you tear it down this is very foundational building.

I didn’t do any trades, they just don’t seem realistic to me. I’d honestly be thrilled if it went this way, except maybe Lindenberg I could see every one of these players developing into impactful players.

    7. Tet McMillan-WR AZ
    42. Colston Loveland TE MI
    92. Alfred Collins DT TX
    109. Ajani Cornelius OT OR
    146. Luke Kandra OG CIN
    157. Malachi Moore S AL
    188. Cody Lindenberg LB MIN
    209. Tim Smith DT AL

No chance that Loveland gets passed the first round.

I'm now torn on McMillan, Jeanty, or Warren at 7. They all have a chance to be elite players. Jeanty, a la Barkley, looks like he could carry an entire offense whereas McMillan and Warren have to rely more on the QB being able to get them the ball reliably.

I think I'm going with Jeanty who some are saying is a generational prospect. Jets need to learn from Brock Bowers f up and never pass on generational talent.

Even if Jeanty's not that he seems like a future Pro bowler who will have the ball in his hands a lot and control games so gotta take him.
