So how in the flying holy hell is Ben Johnson NOT at the TOP of the list?!? I can sit here right now, put $100 million, I don't have, on a bet that says W. Johnson is going to FUCK this up, ROYALLY!!!! Yeahhhhh...Arthur Smith is on the list along with Rex Ryan yet Ben Johnson, the defacto "top" candidate this year couldn't make the cut. Someone in that facility is smoking crack and it isn't the team.
The Jets aren't going to announce that they're interested in a candidate without first knowing the candidate will interview. This was obviously them pathetically trying to save face when they found out Ben Johnson didn't plan on answering the phone.
They are just trying to look better than they are... I don't think you realize just how unattractive this job actually is.
