Brady choked? I didn't see that. He had a few errant passes. So did Peyton. So does everyone. What I saw was a surprisingly vulnerable Patriots defense. A heroic effort by Peyton. Reche Caldwell's two pathetic drops. And (finally, for once) the ball bouncing Indy's way more than New England's.
All I know is that if Pennington threw that interception at the end of the game, we would never be hearing the end of it. I also happen to think that Brady is not healthy. Did the Pats throw anything downfield today??? I can't remember a pass longer than 20 yards. Amazing how those YACs can make a QB look good.
Both great arguments for why Pennington can't take us to a SB. Brady who is 10X the QB as Pennington playing with a much better team can't get there with out being perfect. Who beat the Pats, the QB whith the biggest arm in the game. We all know that arm strength doesn't matter, right.
If the Jets ever scored 34 points in a playoff game and lost I can promise you people wouldn't be talking about the QB.
I have to say that last night's game was probably one of the best games I have ever seen, period. Anyone else hear the rumor that the Pats were done in because the flu-bug was rampant during the week, and that the Colts exposed this weakness by keeping the no-huddle pretty much throughout?
I love the result of yesterdays game, but if you think Brady choked, you don't know football. It's amazing that that team got that far with Cardwell and Gaffney as their best WR's. The guy did anything but choke.
It sucks that you won't here it on ESPN or anywhere else for that matter but Brady did indeed choke by throwing that INT.
What are you talking about? He had 24 seconds left and half a field to go with no burners at the WR position. That's not choking. That's running out of time. Geez, get a clue.
