Yeah... locally broadcast here in Los Angeles. I can watch the game using my TV antennae to get the full Hi Def losing experience!
Looking at this game - it just felt like we were the more talented team, played better, and we just pissed the game away. I get being aggressive and going for it on the 4th down, but there were two instances where it was so obvious they shouldn't have. 1st one was on our own 30 yard line. We are up 6, and Stafford is straggling a little bit. If we don't get it, they are immediately in the FG range. I was shocked they went for it. That's 6 points right there. Another one was the 4th and goal at a 4 yard line after that long drive. That one was a clear FG attempt. Just right there we are looking at 9 points. Then there is stupid Rodgers' fumble and missed FG. Another 10 points gifted. We are talking about 19 point swing here in a 10 point game. Though it was two score game, we did have a lead in the 4th and just gave it away more than Rams won it. What else is new?
Special teams was just horrendous. Couldn’t kick, couldn’t catch a punt, just terrible for some reason the ST coach keeps getting a pass
I had layers of clothes on for this one a tshirt, a shirt jacket, a hoodie, my Jamal Adams jersey, my Jets coat a winter hat and I bought a pair of winter gloves before the game (not at the stadium). Still I was shivering during the game. One of the coldest days I've ever experienced. In the second half my brother and I moved down a few rows from the field I saw McVay looked like he was only wearing slacks, a hoodie and some kind of bandana? The guy is nuts. I was freezing. On to the game. I can't get too worked up or overly criticize Coach Ulbrich's stupidity he is who he is he's in the position he's in because we know what happened. He's not a real NFL head coach he'll be gone in a couple of weeks deservedly so. Adams dropped a TD. I saw Wilson looked like he was running backwards I get that he's trying to make something happen. Can't kick a extra point and fg again. The Jets just don't have NFL caliber coaching. Basic fundamental things the Jets eff up time and time and time again. I paid a pretty penny for all the games I've been to and I am going to. If before the season someone had told me with Aaron Rodgers at qb the Jets would score a grand total of 39 points in the 3 games I've been to so far Denver, Seattle, LA Rams I wouldn't have believed it possible. I expected to see the Jets score something like 39 points in one game. I only hope Miami needs the game the final week of the season to make the playoffs AND the Jets are up to playing spoiler.
I didn't see as many Rams fans at this game as Seahawks fans for the Seahawks-Jets game. The ones who were there were very vocal kept on chanting Rams house and waving Rams house flags or signs. Very annoying but not much Jets fans could say when the home team lights up the scoreboard with 9 points.
I think this was a tank game. There were too many obvious game decisions that were tossed aside. I think Ulbrich was following orders because no NFL coach seeking to win a game would have made those calls.
Yeah, pretty annoying bunch in the 4th quarter especially, considering they didn't really play well and we handed them the game. But not easy for us Jets fans when you have nothing to cheer for in the second half and watch them pissing the game away in freezing cold...
