If there really is a "game management coordinator" on the sidelines, did he sign off on today being "Get Rodgers his 500th TD pass" day?? Asking for a pissed off fan.
Did anyone in the stadium or watching not know that Adam’s was not getting the fade thrown to him on 4th down.
Oh, just get that asshole his fucking golden touchdown already so he can retire and not hold the Jets hostage next season.
Better yet he doesn't get it, the new GM dumps him, and nobody else wants him, so he finishes his career with 499.
Buffalo will shut him out but he will get 500 in the finale against Miami, it will be a big giant celebration in a game the jets lose in the 4th quarter anyway but he wont care
This game management coordinator is like a mathematician they had last year, who could not add Hall's previous rushing total to the one from the last game and thought that Hall reached 1000 yards rushing when he was 6 yards short. There was still time to run one more play to get him to a 1000, but they thought he already had it. The good news is that in two weeks this regime will be completely gone.
Think about how inconceivable it is to have this level of incomptence and ineptitude. I can not fathom it... I mean I was working for a CEO once and made a mistake... I was told in no uncertain terms that if I did it again, I was toast. Needless to say, I got the message and stayed another few years before moving on.... That is accountability, not this shit show... what a mess.
You and a whole lot of us on here! In my opinion, that is the number one failure of this entire organization… Zero accountability. That was RS greatest flaw! He had no ability to hold anyone accountable, whether that be coaches or the players. football is a disciplined business and without it all you have is chaos and 11 people on a field operating as 11 independent contractors as opposed to a team.
While Brick appears to be a new level of low from Bob, I actually don't think things would be too much different even if Bob were not fired. The defense was already collapsing either way. Kicking game didn't improve. And Downing was going to be the OC. It seems like even the wins we did have under him this year didn't age well: we barely beat Tennessee with a lot of luck involved, and they are 3-12. And NE at home, which is also 3-12. And embarrassed by SF, which are also not that good. Then lost two close games to good teams. Basically exactly what we have been doing without Bob. 7 wins was the ceiling with Bob, and a few games less with Brick, doesn't make much difference. Clean with the bleach in two weeks.
The San Francisco game really stands out to me because they were so injury riddled right out the gate. That game should’ve been a lot closer than it was.
Also it looks like Thursday night home games is where we actually have advantage (again same with Bob and Brick), where teams travel to us and don't have much time to prepare, which kind of reduces impact of coaching a little bit, working to our advantage. Hence two biggest wins of the season happen to be on Thursdays. And of course the SF game you referenced, where there is months to prepare, we get thoroughly outcoached and stuffed.
