Pats are worse than the Jets so I think we'll win - but it's not as enjoyable now BB is no longer there
Mayo called his players "soft" after their game Sunday. How that went over with his team should reflect how they come out this Sunday......
They better not lose this game. Not that I'd be surprised but that would be a really, really bad look. We can talk tankathon and QB prospects if they do lose
I picked our Jets but I have deep trepidation. This is EXACTLY the kind of game that this team loses.
And Belichick fired back at Mayo: “I’m kinda hurt for those guys because to call them soft, they’re not soft, they were the best team in the league last year against the run,” Belichick said. “Those guys went out there and did it even though we couldn’t score many points offensively. I feel bad for the defensive players on that one because that’s a tough group.”
Shout out to @Jonathan_Vilma for the links to vintage Jets jerseys! They had told me 4-8 weeks and it was only 2 weeks! Great quality, and true to '68 Jets jersey style. Finally have a Sauer jersey! Go Jets!
Will they quit on the coach or play in spite of him. If Belichick were coaching I think we definitely lose, with Mayo there we really should win but who else can see a Maye breakout game here
The Pats are a mess. Offensive line is a disaster. The Qb was the leading rusher with 18 yards. The only reliable receiver is the TE. The Defense can't stop the run. The last five games they gave up: Jets 133, SF 148, Mia 193, Texas 192, Jags 171. We should run right through them.
Given the way they've handled even the faintest hint of adversity this year, if Bric did that they probably wouldn't even get on the plane to go to Foxboro.
They appear to be so emotionally soft, they probably wouldn't feel like playing hard in Foxboro. The presence of Rodgers on this team has been toxic both mentally and physically on the field. The offense waits for Rodgers to pull off a miracle. The defense figures they can just coast on their reputations and don't have to play quite as hard as they used to. Firing Saleh, while justified, was ill timed and poorly thought out. Then again, "thinking is overrated" as stated by the owner.
We will beat the shit out of them, and look good doing it..... Then try and make ourselves believe we can beat the Texans, only to me embarrassed on national TV AGAIN but this time on Halloween
Rich Cimini on X: "Aaron Rodgers is listed with knee, ankle and hamstring injuries and will be limited today (only a walk through). The hamstring "flared up" vs Pitt, per Ulbrich, who says it may have compromised his mobility on a few plays in which he could've scrambled. #Jets" / X
What is our secondary looking like this Sunday? Who's healthy? Not for nothing, Drake Maye seems to be looking down field as apposed to Bressett.
