Yep, the player is not well in the head. Good luck with any team wanting his services next year. Pretty soon if he wants to come back he will be playing for free.
I feel more sure everyday he's not going to play ever again. He will not get close to what he could have made, and I'm not sure he wants to play.
Is his career pretty much over for the most part? Who's gonna pay this headcase the kinda money he's asking for except Woody Johnson?
Someone will absolutely pay him next year because pass rushers are a premium and nothing has shown he still can't get after the QB. He also still has to be on the roster for 6 games this year for the contract to count. Instead of having the chance at a Danielle Hunter type deal if he performed this year, he is looking at something along the lines of mercenary Jadaveon Clowney IMO.
I like my pass rushers to be a little messed up in the head myself I think this helps the chances of Reddick playing for the Jets, or some team, this season anyway. A new agent might tell him he needs to play

I would have loved to have seen Reddick in this Jets D. With that said, if he's not going to play for the Jets, they got to trade him and get something back that will help them attain their goals this season - Win the division and make the playoffs.
The only way this remotely works out well for Reddick is if he gets traded. I have to imagine that's what he's holding out hope for because nothing else makes sense.
Maybe he just really doesn't want to be a Jet. They did just fire the HC 5 games in after once again winning the offseason headlines. His methodology for that does seem to be extreme though.
Apperently several.teams turned down a trade with the Eagles when they heard his salary demands... What was JD thinking when he heard those same demands and still made the trade? He must have been willing to at least come close to meeting them. What changed?
