Anything the Jets do right now, at this stage in the season, especially in regards to Reddick or Adams, feels desperate AS FUCK. But of course it does. This God damn team. I thought we'd get to at least Halloween before either the front office/fan base panic stricken, wheels started to fall off. As usual, im wrong.
Adams has no idea what he's getting into lol. Just waiting for the first sideline blowup with the infamous OC Hack job.
He can't defend the run, run/pass block, or call plays so I'm skeptical how useful a DA acquisition would be.
Lots of random sources saying this is close to a done deal. Normally, I hate this kind of move. It's objectively bad for the long-term prospects of our team. Having said that, if you think you remotely have a shot at making a playoff run and have a short window like we do with Rodgers, you should go all in.
Random guy on Twitter but he appears to actually have some sources within league. Has gotten some stuff wrong but has called other things earlier than mainstream reporters.
As fans we need to stop saying this phrase already lol. There is no "all in" aspect to this trade, to this offense, or to this season. This would basically just be changing the current year paint job and probably adding a few more fun drives to the season. If a 4th rounder really ends up being the top bid to beat maybe they'd do the swap straight up for Corley. Which is about the only way we don't find ourselves going in to next year's draft not feeling like we gave yet another pick away for nothing. Heck in fact I'd even give Joe D a recouping W on that given right now it's already looking like a wasted in the Hackett offense pick.
Random guy online who presumably works for first athletes agency. He nailed a bunch of stuff prior to FA before rap and Schefter and it all involved that agency. Mosley restructure Tyron smith signing Moses trade Ridley to Titans Darnell Mooney to Atlanta just to name a few that he has prior to national media
See, that player trade lines up perfect too. Stickers still even left on the car. He's just as good as an unused 3rd round pick.
Lol, you really comparing a glorified kick returner with an elite top 2 WR who has chemistry with our current qb, offensive coordinator, playback and system?
Lol, I stopped reading after the tackle piece. You can't bash him and compare one player several years ago vs 2 starters and a depth piece on our current win now team.....asinine comparison. He swung and missed on Becton, Duane was serviceable and 19m for 2 years for a starter wasn't a bad deal....he actually did good finding a starter who was a backup on another team. He brought in 2 good starters this year for little money. He drafted a guy in Olu who looks to be our next DF. You're hating just to hate.
If JD sends Wilson to the Raiders for DA and his money I would be over the moon. You can keep Reddick.
Wilson is one of 4 receivers ever to get 1000yd+ in first 3 seasons. You can say 17 game season and all - but he’s darn good wideout. Rodger’s forcing us to watch the Hackett experience is screwing this up.
Make the move now for Adams so he can sit out Sunday in London. He gets a bye week and is fresh for when the Jets return, with a big game against Buffalo for the division lead
