I always love the week after the draft when Jets blogger types put out all the film on our rookies. Allen's is by far the most intriguing. His size is absurd, he's got really good vision and the motor is there. Thank god Wisconsin changed up systems on him or else he'd have been gone in the second round. I think he's going to be a perfect complement to Hall and although I'm tempering expectations, he's got the tools to be an every down guy (even though those don't really exist anymore). I maintain that this pick was just as much about 2026 as it is 2024.

I've been impressed by Davis' film as well. He's got quick feet for a guy his size.

If you haven't watched it already, watch the tape of the interview with Braelon at: https://www.newyorkjets.com

He's obviously a smart, disciplined, thoughtful, and well-spoken young man.

He is going to wear number 0 with the Jets and that’s so cool for a power back

Love the AJ Dillon comps. I expect us to see the best of Allen in his sophomore campaign.

Much like in GB, with Jones and Dillon- the Jets could have their guys in Breece/Allen

we will be a run heavy team that sets up the pass and can grind you down to close out the game

idk maybe I didn’t watch enough of GB but I should hope they are better than Jones and Dillon.

jones is a good player, but isn’t Breece Hall better? And Dillon is an average player

Agreed, I think the Jets have what could be a top 3 RB combo, they just need the coaching and blocking to go with it.
