As soon as CM took out Severino and put in that clown, I knew it was over.

Awful! These were two very winnable games! Can blame offense but this lost is on the manager and Diaz. Walk JT! He hits Diaz good and 1st base was opened!

These last two games exhibit everything that was going wrong the first two months of the season. For that crap to show up now is an extremely bad sign.

At least the Dodgers beat the Braves tonight, so the Mets are still tied for the third spot. Arizona and San Diego both won, so they're starting to get out of reach (2 1/2 and 4 1/2 games ahead of the Mets and Braves).

I'll be away for 2 weeks(leaving tomorrow), hopefully, when I get back I'll be able to watch Mets playoff baseball.

Thank God they (barely) won. Dodgers are way up on the Braves, so it looks like Mets will be up one game.

Mets certainly haven't missed Lindor tonight - Acuna has a single, double, and home run. Alonso with 5 RBI (although two were on a lucky dunk), and a solid start for Megill (6 innings, no earned runs).

Reds beat the Braves, coming back from being down 5-1, so the Mets should be up 2 games in just a few minutes.

Game over. Diamondbacks are down by 2 runs in the 5th right now, so if that stays the same, the Mets will be into the second wild card spot (tied with the tiebreaker).

Rockies beat the D'backs, putting the Mets into the second wild card spot. They are 2 1/2 games behind San Diego for the first spot, with the Astros and Padres tied in the 7th.

Astros beat the Padres in 10. Mets are two games out of the first wild card.

D'Backs beat the Rockies this afternoon, so 1/2 game back of the second wild card spot.

Mets score 9 runs in the fourth inning, capped by a Nimmo HR!

Everybody wins, so the standings don't change. Quintana extends his scoreless streak to 23 1/3 innings, and Acuna hits another home run, his 2/4 raising his BA to .467. Francisco who?

The series couldn't have gone any better, of course, but now it gets harder for the rest of the season.

Once again, everybody wins (other than the Padres, who didn’t play). Keep it going, boys!

I don’t think there was ever a doubt that Ohtani was winning the award. 6-6 3 Hr 10 RBI today lol
Looking like Alvarez power has come back. Hopefully JD figures it out. Acuna has been a stud.
