Just stating facts. I know in today's world facts are often discounted for emotional comforts, but Mason is a solid running back and is actually pretty good. The Jets defense definitely needs to do better at stopping the run, however.
Yeah, I'm sure they just didn't prepare and decided in advance to take the night off. It's like getting beat by better teams isn't a thing.
I think Ulbrich is a waste of space as well. I think everyone needs to go if things don’t click this season.
Ulbrich is just as empty headed as Saleh. These guys are just fugaze “rah rah” dudes, they’re the equivalent of man buns and manicured beards. Pussies, the both of them
Here’s a fair question that I think summarizes the situation- if you had the opportunity right now without any consequence to swap HC’s with any team in the NFL, which coach would you actually say “nah, I wanna keep Saleh here instead”. I’ll wait
Excellent framing--add a comp for Hackett and you probably get the same result--hell, add a comp for JD too. I was thinking last night about how amazing it would be to have a Joe Brady as OC--sitting up top with his team and actually being productive.
Jonathan Gannon, Matt Eberflus, Raheem Morris, Dennis Allen (possibly), and Brian Daboll (possibly). Also, Dave Canales, Jerod Mayo, Mike Macdonald, and Brian Callahan are rookie head coaches, so nobody knows how good they are.
I was saying as an intermin if Woody, happens to have an epiphany (I know I am dreaming), and cleans house after 4-5 games.
Here’s another interesting perspective. Over in PHI you have Mekhi Becton quietly playing well at OG. I don’t hear any noise from Becton. I don’t see any tweets. I don’t see any demands he is a LT. Nothing. Why? Because he’s on a team with a coach that will tell him in no uncertain terms at all that he will do whatever the fuck his coach tells him to do. It’s just one of many examples of Saleh not being a leader and holding players accountable.
Yeah well it’s hard to know why that is though as we are not in the room…could also be that he has been humbled by not having his extension picked up and not being resigned too. I did see he gave up a sack last night
If you're looking to shit on the Jets, sure that's a take. More realistic he realizes the writing is on the wall, and this may be his last chance to stick in the NFL and he's not going to blow it by being a locker room cancer. Not sure why you are crowning an eagles staff that led to a meltdown of epic proportions last year and blew it yesterday. Saleh is not a good HC, but this isn't a good example.
Yeah Becton doesn’t really have a choice. And I wouldn’t exactly be pumping up Sirianni right now after last nights coaching performance.
