He is hiring the people that are doing these things.... He Is the head of the snake. You don't have the GM or the HC without the owner. Yet, we always point to the easiest scapegoat. It's just dumb.
Williams is on a pitch count, he wasn't even targeted. They brought Allen in during garbage time. Conklin is a beast and should have been featured in the offense.
If he can't play he should be inactive IMO, this "pitch count" stuff is weird and new, I dont think good teams operate that way. Next man up is how most teams operate... For example the 49ers didn't keep their all-pro RB active, and on a pitch count, they made him inactive, and the backup RB gets 150 all-purpose yards and a TD because he is ready to play
Woody Johnson is the one who gave Douglas & Saleh a vote of confidence and a promise they'd return this season. He's too busy with other things anyway...
Who hired them? Who hired all of our shitty coaches and GMs? And who is going to hire the next loser? Eventually, the pattern is pretty clear. This thread could have happened at many different points since 2000, just with different names.
As a Yankee fan, I'm seeing too many disturbing parallels between Saleh and Aaron Boone: 1. They feed the media and the fans such a load of ridiculous bullshit in their post-game press conferences that those press conferences should have a laugh track; and 2. They seem more interested in being the players' friend than their boss. About the only difference is that Saleh is a lot better at inventing snappy slogans.
The team seems to be built on the premise that the offense is so good, they will put up enough points so that the D can play with a lead and just play pass defense the rest of the game. I've always complained that the Jets don't have enough heft on the D line. Shanahan exposed that last night. The Jets ran up against a well oiled, well coached machine and came out on the short end. It's extremely difficult to expect an offense that has never played together in competition to have success against a grizzled veteran defense. I actually thought there was enough talent on both sides of the ball to overcome that but instead it shows that the Jets have a long way to go to be considered SB contenders.
The Brillian Leader's Morning Press Conference: "It wasn't so much a lack of effort as it was guys trying to do too much." Can someone translate this for me?
It means “I didn’t have my guys ready to play, but this excuse makes it sound better.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saledh is a good caoch. He'll move on to a DC spot eventually. Joe D cant coinstruct an OL to save his life. Becton over Wirfs is the defining moment. Plain stupid.
That's the point. Yeah. Unless Saleh actually does fix that "shit" on the field. No chance any of them should be here. I just wish we could kick the real problem out the building with em'.
Jest hung for 20 minutes. Glad that when I watched some stupid TV shgow ith the wife instead of this shit product.
Saleh was severely outcoached in this game. Wow! The team looked completely non-competitive against the Niners.
