Good point, baseball did all they could to shorten games and it’s been well received. NFL is going the opposite direction
I went to the National Indian Gaming trade show a couple years ago in Anaheim. They do not think it’s derogatory. In fact, they proudly refer to themselves as Indians and poke fun at their own culture. I told one of the guys I liked his watch and his friend joked “oh Indian tradition, now he has to give you his watch.” https://www.indiangamingtradeshow.com/ I get the move away from Redskins. The move away from Indians is ridiculous. Same thing with some of the smaller colleges that have been forced away with it. But to @BrowningNagle’s point. If we’re gonna do it, the Chiefs shouldn’t be tomahawk chopping at Arrowhead stadium if we can’t have the fucking Cleveland Indians.
I understand the members of the American College of Cardiology object to the use of the word "Indians."
Eagles made so many mistakes tonight and still won. Have to be questioning the Packers after that. Loves interception was killer. The backup QB needs to know he needs to get the ball in the air on a Hail Mary. That was very jet-like.
he does have to get the ball out but in those field conditions I’d play the lateral game and not a Hail Mary, muck it up, lateral it back and forth, a defender is liable to slip on that field
Seriously, they are trying so hard to globalize this so fast, and not considering something like the field they play on? I’m beginning to dislike all these primetime games. The theatrics are getting annoying. I miss just Sundays and Mondays
What a crap game last night. Field was shit and players slipping on every play. Fucking refs throwing a flag EVERY FUCKING PLAY. Love looks done, you could see the knee pop as he was going down.
I thought it was a good game in spite of the refs and the field. Hard to see Saquon lasting very long this season running the way he was, though.
Goddel, “ the money making about all things comish” wants to have 16 international games next season. They better do more due diligence and less money grabbing greedy expansions with shit field conditions. While at it, put some money on better refs and more consistent play calling instead of the one sided calls and trying to set an example by calling completely marginal BS. These games are becoming unwatchable and the announcers assessment of the call is nothing but political BS.
Im willing to bet within 10 years the first week or two of the season will be all international games in late August. Goodell wants to make the league global.
Reports are that Love injured his MCL, not his ACL, and would be back in 3-to-6 weeks. https://apnews.com/article/green-bay-packers-jordan-love-injury-5f452d3a61e6b9f12700b7e8853d5676
College refs miss a call here and there but for the most part they let the players play. It’s wild if you watch a full day of college football on Saturday and then a full day of football on Sunday. The flags are disgusting on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
Another week 1 Sunday is upon us gentlemen and it's another ruled out game for Jamal Adams Opinions vary here on Joe Douglas' tenure, but he'll always get a tip of the cap from me for turning that locker room tumor into 2 first round picks. I wouldn't mind seeing him next week trailing a Jet WR as they run for a long TD "I'm da greatest in the Nation!" (fallen teammate or not, it's still a silly soundbite)
Russell Wilson out, hardly the beginning of his Steelers tenure he would have hoped for. Here's Fields' chance to end the supposed QB competition before it even starts.
Yeah Codrington had a nice return, that was dumb to trade him. Bills look like shit otherwise though so far
