My net is really good. I had Optimum for the first few weeks of the season and it was like a 45 second delay compared to other people who had Fios or Direct TV. Swapped to Fios and I was ahead of everyone by about 15-20 seconds. One of the technicians who came to install the Verizon was telling me how it's more about the box itself than the net?
So my free trial for ticket ended today. Really tempted to pull the trigger on this but $479 seems pricey. I have an IPTV but the 50 - 60 second delay is brutal for me when live betting/fantasy sports. I'm trying to find out more info about sharing the login or creating a YT family group. Does anyone have any info on sharing the information on this? You are allowed to stream unlimited devices on the same WiFi and 2 out of home streams, but I want to know how long until those out of home devices need to reconnect to the main WiFi or get logged back in? Some people are saying YTTV is 90 days?
I have it but I haven’t tried it yet to let someone else watch while I’m watching in my home network. I was gonna let my uncle give it a whirl but I didn’t feel like coordinating with him when he’s meh at technology. I don’t really get why they’d give away two free out of home WiFi streams though? Why wouldn’t 3 people split it every year?
Maybe that's the desirable alternative to everyone getting it for free? I gotta say, it's been pretty nice not spending a penny on the Jets or the NFL this year.
Exactly -- the smartest thing to do would be split it 3 ways with someone since you're allowed 3 logins at a time from different locations. They have stated that on their website and multiple sources I've read have confirmed this to be the case, but I can't find anything about the having to log back in to reconnect the account. I don't feel comfortable giving my google account to someone I'm sharing with to have them "reset" the login/network (similar to how Netflix makes you reset your information if you are out of distance for X amount of time). https://tvanswerman.com/2023/08/10/...tube-can-you-share-your-password-with-anyone/ I know you can make a YT "family" and have people access it from that but still, nothing on the longevity of having someone else log into it.
