Abe is a great player, but I'll still take your #22. Prepare for him to get you about 12-15 sacks next year. Then play 8 games a year for the next 4. He will be a monster at home for you guys during the season. He has disappeared during the playoffs.

I just re-read something in that article that made me laugh.

It is "strange" that the Broncos would try to sign Baker. Umm, why? Mike Heimerdinger was HERE last year, and now he is THERE. Could it possibly be that he saw that Baker fits into his TEs catch passes in my playbook scheme?

They will let anyone write news. Where can I sign up?

guys i think some of us are getting a little too anxious with this whole free agent thing......2 weeks ago we were resigned to the fact that we're not gonna have much money to sign free agents because of our cap situation...and that we were going to start the rebuilding process throught the draft...now we cut a couple guys and make a little room and now everyone wants the big name free agents as if we're gonna contend for a superbowl next year.....we'll sign a couple veterans so they can teach the young guys and hep us compete a little bit next year but mostly it looks like the F.O is going to rebuild through the draft....as we should!!! so lets relax when we see other teams gobbling up the so called big fish of the off-season because thats not supposed to be our M.O this year anyway

No way we want your #22. It would almost be a steal if all we got was your #29.

I'd rather bring John Ab back, we have the money. He's worth more then the 22nd pick, let alone the 29th pick.

I can't believe they are going after Baker. I am glad we have someone else running the ship now that can make a decision. Bradway would definitely mess this up.Maybe Heimedinger is coveting Baker for his onslaught next year?So what.

After you sign Abe to a 18-20 mill.deal, you wouldn't be able to afford your #22.

Yea, a steal for the Jets. I'll be surprised if you get a 1st rounder at all.

I feel the same. I think a lot of people are so high on the guy because we have lacked e decent TE for a while and that's just what Baker was. A DECENT TE not a steller one.
