Fowler is reporting that the Jets have cut Uzomah. Move adds about 5M to our cap space this offseason. No big surprise here but it certainly seems like the Jets will try to be as active as possible in FA to fill their offensive needs. Also means Ruckert should get some more PT next season, which I'm all for.

CJ played high school Varsity basketball with my youngest brother, so I've been a fan of his since he was 15. There is a God, and he loves me. More than any other two players, I wanted Tomlinson and Uzomah cut from the 2024 team. Terrible signings by Douglas and even more insane was RESTRUCTURING Uzomah after 2022. That restructure is what is costing us cap space NOW. Joe Douglas missed salary cap 101 class wherein GMs are urged not to restructure TE3 who cannot hold onto the ball but certainly can hold onto the opponent. Go back and watch Ozomah's holding penalty against the Raiders which costs us a TD-- He literally had Crosby in a HEADLOCK when he was flagged for holding.
