Better still than the Cardboard Cutout we have on the sidelines at the moment.

Bucs playing heads up... beautiful drive by Baker to tie it at the half.

That Hutchinson sack might have just saved the day for the Lions. The Bucs were moving there (again) and a score would have really been demoralizing.

Kind of reset the board at least for now.

I’ve been so impressed with the Lions offensive line, particularly Penei Sewell. Old fashioned football I love it

I'm not going to go quite that far, but I also don't find Campbell particularly likable - he comes off to me as a fake tough guy blowhard way too much of the time.

But hey, I find the Kelce/Swift hate incomprehensible as well (who cares if they show her in the sky box? It has absolutely no effect on what is going on on the field, and my enjoyment or lack of enjoyment with it), so I'm apparently way out of step on here.

    Fake tough guy?

Robert Saleh is the fake tough guy, Dan Campbell played in the league for like 10 years as an actual tough guy lol

Why? Because you don’t like the way he looks? And he’s jacked?

He’s widely considered a smart football X’s and O’s guys and one of the hardest working coaches in the league.

No offense to you or anyone else but I’m a bit tired of these sort of Campbell statements. His opening press conference felt that way and then he walked the walk and talked the talk and has created a winning culture in probably the worst franchise in the NFL that was literally a punchline.

I think many Jets fans are not on board with the Lions because for the last 20 to 30 years, you could always say “at least we are not the Lions”. Their success will just cement that the Jets are the laughing stock of the league.

Aaron Glenn was one of my favorite players at the time, so rooting for his success is enough for me.
I respect that they actually know how to build with an offensive line, and I would be happy for any long time suffering die hard fan.

After watching the Lions, normally we should be hopeful that one day, our Jets will transition to a winning organization. By their most recent moves or non-moves, I doubt if I'll live to see a second Jet SB. The Lions did what they had to do to find a great HC. The Jets stood pat with losers because one person gave them his blessing. This shit is so fckn depressing sometimes..

I love Campbell. He is 100% genuine that is who he is and the players respond and feed off that emotion similar to how players responded to Rex.
    That’s my type of coach.
Detroit’s OC has been great too and will get some HC opps real soon.

I think Saleh has some elements of that too to be fair. It’s very hard to keep the team up when the offense is just so putrid tho.

IMO Campbell is a genuine no nonsense coach that has his pulse on both sides of the ball and is liked by the players because of his football knowledge and planning. Do you see how disciplined this team is? He has done wonders with a perennial loosing franchise, albeit blessed at lest by a non meddling supporting owner. Yet I can vividly remember going back a few years when many on this site considered Goff an absolute bust from the Rams and the Lions got ripped off big time with the trade. Well, Goff has proved all the nay sayers dead wrong and turned out to be a damned good QB under this great CS.
There is no substitute for great coaching to bring the best out of the players.

Agree. I’ll like to added putrid offense Including the OC staff in total.
