The NFL knows they have a captive and desperate Jets' fan base. The league will do everything in their power to exploit this situation for maximum gain. Scripted comeback seasons for washed up has beens like Geno and Flacco is mockery aimed directly at the psyche of Jets' fans.
Geno was a hot mess here. A guy with obvious running ability who didn't want to run. Turned the ball over like crazy like most Jets young QBs tend to do. Flacco is a champion. I'm stunned at how much gas he still has left in his tank but he's on a good team with good coaches? I don't know enough about them. I think it's safe to say many people around the league and perhaps even Cleveland are or someone/Cleveland would have had Flacco in camp back in July & August. Dude looks almost like in his prime. Phenomenal shape.
