Of course the Jets wait until week 12 to actually look like a professional football team. It is so frustrating to be a fan of this team. Now we're all going if only the Jets beat this guy, this guy, and this guy, oh, what could've been. Wait, I do that every year.
They consistently wait until there's nothing to play for to look just competent enough to give us hope for next season
Watching the team interact with each other on the sidelines with smiles, hugs and pure joy was great to watch. A 5 game losing streak tough on a team. Say what you want about Saleh but he hasn't lost the locker room and this is still a team that plays for each other. Glad that the Jets played some warchable football today.
It's hard to pinpoint why Zach Is so inconsistent. He can have a game like this (very rarely) but then just look utterly lost most of the time. The only thing that makes sense to me Is that the Texans obviously run a very similar defense to ours. ZW knows It well obviously from going against It In practice. The coaching staff knows It well because It's their defense. IDK. I wish our offense could look like a professional offense every week like they did today. It was actually fun to watch for a change.
Our o-line has been horrible and our WR core is the worst in the league and that is not taking I to account coaching. Look no further than Cj and how he played today when his top receivers were out and had no running game. Zach gets the blame because he is the Qb. He has had some bad games this season but has not played as badly as this board might have you think. When we lost all of our starting lineman Zach has his worst games. We will see what he does the rest of the season. It was not just him this game Hackett called a good game for the most part and his play makers made some plays for him. A couple of bad calls he actually played better than his stats.
Hack finally used Breece properly. In the passing game. Split out wide many times. MLF did this and it worked well.
Dr Jekyll and Mr Wilson. What happened and how did it happen? It's a bizarre turnaround. Not just one game, but one half.
It's not the first game he has done it. But if he follows it up with anything but trash, then maybe we have something to talk about.
