lots of teams can say the same thing both ways. games in the NFL usually come down to a play or 2. every team has a handful of games that could have gone 1 way or another. steelers are a great example.

We seem pretty dead set on getting a FA WR (evans or adams) so it's likely OT in the draft.

I trust this organization with a draft pick about as much as I trust them to hire the right GM and Coach.

It evens out - the Jets are exactly where they should be. They also lost games they should of won. If Zach doesn’t fumble that snap they could have beaten KC. They would of beaten the Raiders if Zach’s foot doesn’t catch the white on his TD and even the Patriots game was there for the taking (as bad as they played that day).

This is a team with an excellent defense but with a terrible, non cohesive OL and no true QB. They are what they are 4-7. A team’s OL is it’s lifeblood so to speak. A team that can push the defense around at the line of scrimmage is going to be successful. It’s as simple as that. I know there have been injuries. But I can’t comprehend how or why this OL is in the shape it’s in considering JD was a former OL himself. And where he came from (Baltimore/Philly organizations). It’s just mind boggling.

The way everything lands now I’m sure the Jets are going to beat the Commanders and end up missing out on the top two tackles in a two tackle draft (from a great prospect perspective).

I would say the Giants win is a special case - that one feels more like the Browns game last year. A gift completely unearned. Or looking back at it - a curse from the tank perspective. :)

Tanking is stupid. They tried to tank in 2017 and drafted Sam Darnold. They ranked in 2020 and drafted Zach Wilson

If you reply and say “we need to get a left tackle”. They took Becton with the 10th Pick and the Giants took Evan Neal with the 8th pick (highest rated tackle in 2022)

the jets are not drafting a QB. They need to win games down the stretch

An L to Atlanta should put us top 5 based on the SOS tie breaker I believe ?

Fashanu or Alt would be the most prudent picks for us.

But Harrison Jr. or Nabers would be a ton of fun lol

The good thing for us is, a lot of draft folks are talking about this being one of the deepest OT classes in a little while.

Fashanu, Alt, Latham, Fuaga, Mims, and Barton are all guys that could go in the 1st round. Even after that there are some solid 2nd round prospects at OT.

If I'm JD and I miss out on Fashanu or Alt, I try to trade back a bit and get another Day 2 pick and then snag Fuaga or Mims in the mid/late 1st.

I like the legacy kids, they know what it takes to be successful in the NFL. Alt or Harrison Jr.

I think it depends on what TB does against Carolina. If they somehow lose to them, they'd still be ahead of us based on SOS.

So we'd leap WAS and NYG but stay behind TB and be at 6.

I know we really need an OT but I can't help but think Harrison Jr. could be our Ja'Marr Chase.

A combo of MHJr and GW for the next 5-10 years would be insanely fun. They could be our Chase/Higgins, Tyreek/Waddle, Brown/Smith, etc.

They don't need to have the best tackle. They just need decent o-lineman that don't get injured. And a good QB. And a good OC. LOL

I would do this in a heartbeat especially with AR at QB…I think it’s absolutely critical to get a starting quality OT in free agency and then if for some reason Harrison is there when we pick I’d run to the podium and use the rest of the draft to fix the OL

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be better to get 2 or 3 average to above average o-lineman than getting 1 stud o-lineman?

That’s a stupid algorithm pick…clearly that’s not anyone looking at the team and understanding needs at all…the fuck we pick a TE in round one when we need OT, WR, and QB

I don't know gang, with Rodgers threatening to return, I am giving it one more loss before starting the official tank. Still hoping for a miracle I guess.

LOL. Can he read defenses? Does he have any pocket awareness?
