I think regardless if this team gets top 10 draft pick, you gotta hope for a trade back to get more draft picks including 2nd and focus on all offense with the first 4 picks. A QB is a need but don’t have to be a first round pick.

The Jet are doubtful to win another game this year however, even if that happens, does anyone here think Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh has enough football savvy to make good use of the tank or will they fuck it up like the last time...

They definitely won't win another game. This team has quit.

Never underestimate the Jets ability to win a meaningless game to fuck up their draft position.

True. I just don't see the fight left in this team, though. They laid down today. I mean, how do you get ground and pounded by the Dolphins, one of the softest teams in the league.

Tanking is pointless. We did it in 2020* and ended up with the 2021 draft (vomit).

*did we tank? Or were we just monumentally poop and we assumed it was a tank because we didn’t want to believe our new GM could field such a crap team?

We didn't do a good enough job. Jax did, and look at them now. Gotta keep trying.

If we can get a left tackle or number one receiver trading back might not be the best idea.

It really depends on how top heavy the draft is.

not a bad year at all to have a top 5 pick

hopefully a different GM makes the selection

I still can't believe we didn't complete the tank for Lawrence. We were in the driver's seat and incredibly close to the end of the season. Just a total lack of pragmatism.

As if the Jets would use draft position to their advantage?

Yeah, Jax did a better job. They even benched Minshew trying to complete the tank job and then fired the coach who did it. We have a lot to learn.

    This team is not tanking.

That is the scary thing about it.

They just genuinely have no clue how to build a winning football team.

I had a great tail gate yesterday. Weather was cool but tolerable. Food was great! The home made pierogis were the best I’ve ever had!

There were a lot of Dolphin fans in the stadium.

After the Jets gave up the Hail Mary return with 2 seconds on the board we left.

The Jets are at the same place they were at last year. Circling the bowl. No hope for this year and the fan base wondering if somehow they can clean house, remove the coaching staff, get rid of The GM, draft well, and obtain good FA players.

Given the Jets record in completing a rehab of the team, I will probably sell my season tickets again next year and devote the $ to fishing trips.

Not sure if this would work but…if they hired Bellycheck and gave him the keys (GM, Head Coach) then maybe I might change my mind.

    I can’t believe I wrote that.
