Might be crazy but I wouldn't hate it if the Jets brought him in as a coach/assistant in some capacity. The Bills offense is like top 10 in almost all advanced offensive metrics through 10 weeks. Kinda crazy they let him go IMO.
Yeah I don’t know how you scape goat the guy engineering the offense to top ten in points and yards per game when your quarterback throws atrocious uncoachable interceptions every week. It would be too much of a chess move for the Jets to bring him in right away though. In somewhat defense of Josh Allen, McDermott needs to take the receivers out at night on the coldest day of every week and let Allen rocket balls at them so they get used to catching in the cold. No excuse to create a tip drill off that first interception yesterday and it almost happened a second time with Kincaid over the middle.
We got caught playing checkers in the draft, we could use some chess moves... but obviously it wouldn't happen because beat writers will wonder out loud if Hackett is on the hot seat and Woody only cares about perception, not wins.
We've seen Hackett without Wilson. He's been pretty bad, especially with passing offense, with the lone exception of his 3 years in GB With Rodgers. We've seen Wilson without Hackett, and he was god-awful. So yeah, like KY Jets Fan said, probably B, but not by much.

This team never wins when we expect them to. Especially going into an easy game. And since we mostly expect the Jets will lose, yes I'm clinically and medically insane. We're going to pull this one out and who knows, maybe the 3% chance of Miami losing at home, we might be playing for the AFC East next week on Black Fri. Since the wild card is not in the cards.

Interesting take from Will Parkinson I heard this morning -- Duane Brown needs to be activated this week or he goes back on IR and it basically ends his season. He brought up a point about maybe the Jets haven't activated him the last 2 weeks and asked Duane Brown to play RG and learn it over the last 3 week to replace Newman and pull a Jason Peters
Jets are at the lowest part of the season right now, look completely inept on offense and basically have no chance to win this.... So I fully expect a win. If Rodgers is planning to come back, this is a game they absolutely can't lose. They fall to 4-6, it's basically over.
