The incompetence starts at the top with Woody and the shit rolls downhill. Look like I am not going to be able to change my avatar anytime soon.
In the last 5 seasons, only 4 teams have scored 8 or fewer offensive touchdowns through 8 games. The Jets are 3 of those teams.
I can't. I simply can't. That clown Saleh is 100% going to lose the defense as well. I didn't bother to watch any of the aftergame crap but I'd be willing to bet he flapped his mouth about how Zach is his guy and how great he practices etc... Of course, in true "Jest" fashion, we've won just enough to have zero shot at any of the QB's coming out next year. Aaron Rodgers can flap all he wants but he's doing nothing next year either. This offense needs to be wiped off the map and built from scratch. You can kiss B. Hall and G. Wilson goodbye, too. By the time they fix this mess both will be contractually up and would any of you stay with this team? I wouldn't.
Not sure how we won any games after AR injury even with a decent Defense I can “ like” a million posts here but it will not change the sad reality how bad and stupid Woody Douglas and Salah are I doubt we win against any half decent opponents Zach makes me sick to my stomach but they force us to watch..the Johnsons are just evil They want $$$ and TV revenue..doesn’t matter if the Product is deadly
Aikmen mentioned an interesting stat about that. He said it’s not just 3rd and longs that cause the lack of conversions. He said they’re converting on 18% of 3rd down plays with like 3 or less yards to go vs. the league average of 62%. This is one of the worst Jets offenses I’ve ever seen, and it’s got 2 players at 2 skill positions who have the potential to be perennial All Pro’s. Removing the outlier 2015 season, the highest the Jets offense has ranked in the past decade is 23rd. This franchise is still incredibly broken. At this point I don’t care how foolish it seems, they need to draft OL and a QB every year until they find the right people, and OC’s/HC’s don’t survive being a bottom ranked offense at mid-season with a playoff caliber defense on the other side of the ball.
Bringing in Aaron Rodgers was a gamble that had high upside that didn't work out. Bringing in his friends was a horrible mistake that ruined our season.
It is a complete offensive failure, not up for argument. Aikman was blasting everything about the Jets offense last night including the coaching staff. We all knew Hackett was absolute garbage and Zach, don't even get me started. Whoever the dumb fucks on this board are that keep rooting for Zach and sticking their noses up his pie hole, well you should be banished from this organization along with him at the end of this season. No questions asked. Just take your shit and leave forever!!! If you root for Zach, you root for failure. Shame on YOU. The entire offense is an abomination. The Jets may never get this window again. I feel really bad for that defense.
I've never seen a QB hold the ball so damn long and never even look like he's about to figure it out and release it. Seriously almost every play behind center he looks completely scared, confused and like he has no idea what he's doing. He needs to be gone ASAP.
I can’t believe we have Dalvin and Breece as our RBs and we still can’t score points. Just ground and pound, and don’t turn over the ball.
Someone needs to get in Woody's ear about the best way to getting increased season ticket sales and merchandise sales is to, you know, actually win some football games. You only get a quick spike in those things by bringing in a past-his-prime future HOF QB. And you can only sell hope for so long without results before a fed up fanbase quits responding to that message. As Parcells used to say, you are what your record says you are, and after three years of Saleh and however many more it's been of Douglas, the results are in. They're both losers and it's time to move on. It would be one thing if we were seeing constant progress from one season to the next, but we're not. It's the same problems year in and year out, from terrible O-line play to a blind devotion to one of the biggest QB busts there ever has been in the NFL.
