He also run a phenomenal free play with the pass to Wilson on the encroachment by the eagles for a huge first down gain only to be negated by Luzar massively unnecessary bone head blocking from behind that put us back on a deeper hole.

Yes…I noticed that too with the rushing a play to get the 12 men thing … and also noticed the cadence offsides stuff as well

Good to see some AR influence there…Brady, Peyton and AR were all really good at that kind of stuff

The 2 point play was also an impressive throw by ZW.

In fairness to NC the person that brought the chemistry up is me and he was just responding. By chemistry I’m talking about connecting on catches. Yes he is a vocal leader and all that good stuff, and I respect that, but when we need yardage, most often than not he either drops it, he is not turning towards the pass direction or running one way where Zach expects him to go elsewhere or vise versa. They don’t seem to be in synch with each other, and yes little chemistry to be the go to receiver when in trouble. Fact is, IMO he has been very unproductive as a receiver in limited usage and it’s not all on Zach.

I mentioned Zach working the cadence last week vs. Denver... he's getting good at it.

You could be right, but imo Cobb's being a vocal leader or that he has supported Zach, doesn't mean that Zach and he have chemistry. IMO they just don't seem to be on the same page or their timing is off. That's what I mean by "chemistry." Have Cobb's hands that used to be very reliable suddenly turned unreliable? Just last season Cobb usually got open, especially on 3rd downs and he converted a very high percentage of those. This year he doesn't seem to be getting open as regularly and he is dropping too many passes. He's had at least 3-4 drops in the last couple of weeks. Now some of those drops were throws that were a little behind Cobb, but they hit him in the hands. It just seems like to me that their timing isn't quite in sync, but maybe Cobb's skills have quickly started eroding.

    no. Not close.
9 sack demolition of Packers at Shea to make playoffs 1stvtime since 69, is the 1st that comes to mind.

Good week for a bye. Going in on a positive note. Some key injuries can heal up.

First that came to my mind was 41-0 beatdown of Peyton Manning and Edgerin James Colts in 2002 playoffs.

    "from behind"???

He could not have been less behind the guy if he was standing at the altar marrying him. And he didn't even hit him that hard.

Let's hope they make the most of their week off, in preparation for the Giants, this team is notorious for losing after the bye, it's been 7yrs since we won a game after, some of our most embarrassing loses have come, Patriots putt up 55 on us, the Bill's destroying us, 2 or 3yrs in a row.

It was discussed at length that if you even if you are in a parallel path with the defender but in his blind spot, it’s a penalty now.

It is a Jets tradition to look like you just crawled out of a cave during the bye week. That was why Rodgers' darkness retreat was such a good fit. Remember the Detroit beat down by Buffalo after their home stadium got dumped under a blizzard? This is what we're good at. :)

We needed the Special Teams to walk us of in a game where we were winning the turnover battle 4 to 1 and were only close due to an insane Garrett catch.

We then needed the D to scoop and score to beat out one of the worst teams in the league having only closed the gap due to a 72yd homerun from Breece.

Finally we had to rely on Greg the leg to hit from 43, 42, 35 and 38 yards to put our D in the position to once again scoop up a turnover and advance it to within 8 yards in another game where we were 4-0 on turnovers.

The sequence of events that got us to 3-3 does not seem like a historically viable path to success.
