Offense Becton 77.9 (81PBLK/80.6RBLK) Hall 77.1 (lol IDK how he's so low) Conklin 74.7 Uzomah 70.7 AVT 69.4 Tomlinson 66.7 (78.4PBLK 2 pressures) wilson 66.3 GW 64.5 CMG 59.0 (78PBLK 0 pressures) Tippman 52.9 Defense Mosley 91.2 JJ 90.4 Sherwood 83.3 Q 75.9 Sauce 74.6 (81.9COVR) Quincy 74 JFM 72.8 Hall 72.5 MC2 60.1 Huff 57.0
Interesting. To my eye, and only having watched once, I thought Mosley looked good but not that good, Quincey and Hall looked better than those grades. Huff seems ludicrously low.
Good to see that Becton was the best graded on offense, but as a whole they really need to be better than that. Yeah, I don't see how Hall isn't at least a 90. What metric are they using for that?
CJ was all over the place yesterday, and made some key stops. Plus the dude basically busts the QB all day long picking apart their audibles, but I guess you can't measure that. Agree on Huff.
I think the issue with their system is you can only go so positive/negative on a single play. so for a RB they could carry 5 times for 99 yards and a TD and still have just an ok grade. everyone starts at 50 and can move up to 2.5 higher or lower per play so in the RB example 4 plays they get stuffed and missed holes so they lose say 1.5 per play so their 50 is now 44. then they break off a 99 yard TD run but only gain 2.5 from it as that is the max. that finishes their grade at 46.5 despite averaging almost 20 YPC like any metric no system is perfect and it's also some subjective-ness as far as moving the needle on any given play
Wow, so in order to get a rating over 90, he'd have to basically have a perfect game, even if he's got 200 all purpose yards. Crazy that 99 yard runs count the same as 5 yards runs.
probably not the same as 5 yard runs but probably if he breaks 4 tackles and gets 25 yards, it's probably the same as going untouched 90 yards for a TD
TBH what I've seen of Ruckert so far strikes me as average. The jury still out though. Our TEs had a good game against Denver so no complaints.
No way holmes! He's a fucking terror blocking! And he gets open too--I saw him cross the middle open in 1 play and ZW missed it.
Overall 58.7. Pass blocking not scored… looking at the numbers, t looks like whenever he’s on the field he runs a route hence no PBL score. *60.4 on his RBL The kid gets pff and pf-r confused.
Ruckert is an absolute beast of a blocker. Any pass receiving (& he has potential) is a bonus. He needs to play a lot more.
