He just put up 177 rushing yards at 8 yards per carry and got a 72 yard touchdown on his way to carrying the Jets offense to a much-needed win. Let's give the guy some love!

Sauce, G. Wilson, J. Johnson & Breece. Not a bad draft class. Now if JD could draft some good OL we would be set.

Breece was THE difference on offense today. Zach needs to bring him along when he takes the defense out for steaks.

It’s a shame the OC and HC didn’t give him enough love to run the ball on ONE of the many 4th and one situations that led to cowardly feild goals.

I only had one eye on the game but I held my breath every time he touched the ball...

To me, the thing that makes him SPECIAL is his vision.

Dude always seems to make the right cut and hit the hole, then he has the speed to take it all the way

Such an exciting player to watch

The output isn’t legendary but that was probably one of the more dominant performances I’ve seen by a Jets runningback. Every touch was a touchdown waiting to happen.

I follow Cuse and Oklahoma for my college teams. I saw Breece tear up highly ranked Sooner teams a couple of times. I loved this pick - not the least bit surprised about how good he is. I think Izzy can also be a plus RB if given a shot as I saw him rip up my Cuse teams, plus I loved his pre-season.

On the flip side I think Carter is over-rated.

Yep... and when he breaks a run he knows to run at such an angle as to squeeze out every yard before getting tackled.

I am always surprised at how slow and patient he looks, and how you only realise how fast he’s moving when he starts running by safeties. There is a smoothness to his running style that is great to watch. He may be the best Jets back I’ve ever seen. Faster than McNeil, stronger than Martin, great vision and patience. My favourite player at the moment and absolutely critical to any hopes of a winning season and maybe a playoff berth.

Absolutely complete agreement. From a talent standpoint best Jet RB. Breece has McCaffery type of ability. I'm not saying they are the same player, but just the shiftiness, and breakaway speed are similar.

He also gets to top speed in like 2 steps. His burst/acceleration is incredible and so smooth it's deceptive. You constantly see 2nd/3rd level defenders taking the wrong angle on him. Every time he gets a hole he is a legit HR threat because of that. And- he is not even 100% yet back from injury.

Jets FO executive interviewed early last season was 100% right when he said "Breece Hall is our best player and its not even close"

Too bad he couldn't convince the Jets to draft his college QB
