There was a MNF game vs the Broncos back in the '70s, '80s or '90s where the Jets absolutely dominated and demolished the Broncos, and I think shut them out or beat them big. Wasn't that game in Denver? I remember the crew saying that was the most dominating performance that they had ever seen from a team on a Monday night game.
Some of the posts here regarding ADHD are disgusting, immature and ignorant, but I wasn't surprised in the least to see that those who made those comments/posts are the same guys who always act like cretins and ignorant lowlifes. So very typical of those posters.
To be fair some of these guys would make fun of cancer if they thought it would break someone's balls.
It's a Jewish holiday on Sunday in which I can't watch the game, so I can't help the Jets win. So you other fans will have to work harder for the victory. Good luck! LOL
that was a home game in the infamous 1986 season. Jets beat previously undefeated Denver 22-10 on MNF to improve to 6-1 but as you noted it was a bigger beatdown than the score would indicate
Well we apparently have at least one autistic poster here, but my semi-non-professional diagnosis would be Asperger's
70s,80's,90s... whatevahs I knew this was the game.. ... my prepubescent self was convinced they were winning the SupaBole after this one..... and why the Cleveland game hurt that much more.
That would of been 1986 - that game was in the Meadowlands. Yes the Jets came out and dominated - Denver was undefeated at that point. They put Elway on his ass….
Nobody here knows if Wilson is currently under treatment, is being medicated, or has ever been medicated for ADHD. Nobody here knows what his current status is in regard to ADHD or if it may affect his play. Unconfirmed third or fourth hand anecdotal information about somebody nobody knows is totally irrelevant to the Wilson experience unless one believes in dealing in broad generalities and we're on a new quest here to find more excuses for Wilson's history of incompetence and inconsistency. On the other hand, those familiar with a medical condition that had the possibility of materially limiting the guy's ability to adequately perform as an NFL quarterback drafted him, signed him and put him on the field anyway and need to bear full responsibility for doing so.
Thank you! But I don't believe either guy claiming to have never heard of him fits the description of "too young." Baghdad Bob was on the news five nights a week - where were they?
I thought that was weird too. They didn’t pay attention during the Iraq war? Wtf, anyway, like I said before it takes 1 second to google
The offense should score a lot, no excuses in this one. I worry about the defense and stopping Russell Wilson though, he’s the type of QB that does damage against this defense. I would think he’s motivated to kick Hackett’s ass too, although Russ Wilson is kind of a weird guy so maybe not
Working 12 hours a day, running a business and raising a family. That's were I was. Why are we still talking about this?
I was college at the time Mets were in World Series albeit lost game one the night before, just kicked Denver’s undefeated ass on MNF, I was on top of the world! My sports fandom life couldn’t get any better at that
