I listened to it live, good stuff. Tiki is a prideful guy, and Joe B is pure emotion. This is what the Jets do to people.

I'm sympathetic with Joe on one thing here. I'm 47 and I've actually started having the thought that "the clock is ticking" this season for the first time in my life. I'm not sure they can get this turned around in the next 40ish (hopefully) years.
I've heard Joe Beningo say many times over the years that when the Jets win the Super Bowl again he'll shave off his moustache. Of course that's been peppered in with I'm gonna die with this thing on my face, haha. I don't get the hate, either. There were times when he wasn't kidding around and said when is enough enough, I can't take it anymore. He does always circle back and also say I know what's important in life, it's a game; but wouldn't it be the cherry on top if the Jets, would, you know, WIN?! There was no way I would ever question his loyalty, that's for sure. Fatcesa hates the Jets as we all know, but he's also a ball-licking blowhard with no redeeming qualities. Beningo wears his heart on his sleeve and at least he's sincere. The guy I really love is Steve Somers. Rangers in seven! - no matter the subject. He does like the Jets for real, though.
I’m 55 and wrote them off a while ago. I’m like, “oh well. Maybe in the next life”. Seriously though, I love watching football more than I love the Jets. Tikis completely wrong and completely out of touch. I understand if you are watching from a distance it might not seem as bad as it is with Wilson but if you have watched every Jets game the past 3 years you know it's completely over for Wilson. This isn't Detroit or Arizona, this is NY.....it's not acceptable, especially when expectations were high.
Joe speaks for every fan who has suffered from the franchise, for the last 50 plus years, he was spot on. Jesus even Joe Namath said he's seen enough of Wilson, he's pur trash, Namath said Jets need change from top to bottom, but they never get that right either

Same here. I kinda bought into the hype this year but now I am back to where I've been in the last 10+ years. I just almost don't care. There are way more important things in my life. It's just not worth it.
It is evidence that Zach is being forced upon him... by either Douglas or Woody. You don't reach the level of success that Saleh has attained without knowing what competent quarterback play looks like. I don't care what Saleh says... Zach lost us the game yesterday.
Being a long time experienced Jet fan does not preclude one from being optimistic and buying into the hype. The experience does help one cope when ultimately the shit hits the fan and things go sideways. The previous failures of this organization may have been forgiven, but they sure as hell have not been forgotten and are even expected to be repeated. Seems more like a plan than a curse for this team to perpetually suck.
what level of success does Robert Saleh have? Just because woody hired him doesn’t mean he has had any success in this league. He is a 12-25 coach that’s not success but failure. Parcels once said “you are what your record says you are”. Saleh is a loser.
last coach woody gave a job to is now coaching high school football, you were saying the guy has accomplished something all he accomplished is mediocrity, if you put a monkey in charge of the jets and he goes 5 and 100 does that mean he is a success or a failure and bad at his job? Benigno is correct about everything (he's finally past the denial he had after Week 1), but he was wrong to say Tiki wasn't "analyzing" the game. It's factually wrong (there's no way Tiki didn't see the game after broadcasting his own game), but even if it was true, it would still be unprofessional to say it to a colleague (who is basically sitting in your chair). However, Tiki was also unprofessional by walking off the set. He's been around too long to get pissy at a 70 year old man who he knows isn't really mad at him or attacking him.
Tiki has always been over emotional not sure what he was so upset at. He knew Joe wasn’t bashing him and was just talking. He even wanted to apologize and Tiki wouldn’t come back lol get over it dude
I love Joe, but he went too far on that one haha. That loss has really made a lot of Jets fans unhinged.
