Just wondering where all the ZW supporters are? BTW I thought the OL got better as the game progressed....
Romo was showing when Zach should have thrown the ball and on the incomplete pass to GW, he was running wide open in the middle of the field before Zach decided to wait for the defender to come over for some reason. He's still holding onto the ball way too long. You either have to change the whole o line to fix the problem which they did today or change one player and hope for a different result. I think we play the Chiefs next week so it doesn't matter anyway. Might as well see what Boyle can do.
robert saleh on the way to being the worst coach in Jet history, but hey at least he makes great promises and cool Slogans
At this point, its not actually Zach Wilson's fault- its the fault of a coaching staff that keeps trotting him out on the field, and a general manager who is too stubborn to sign another QB...we should have signed one within days of Rodgers going down. Frankly, Wentz or Foles or someone of that nature should have been signed months ago as the QB#2, Jets could have had them for vet minimum and they'd be up to speed and playing right now.
Wow, saleh sticking with zack “he’ll be fine”. Reporter — is it fair to the rest of the team ? Saleh “yeah”
yeah and for making excuses for him, I mean ok to make excuses for him When he is a rookie and making rookie mistakes but in his 3rd season the whole world sees Zach Wilson sucks but you and that’s not ok
Yes, it is time to move on, but to who? I'm not going to excuse Zach taking too much time to get the ball out, missing open looks, and overall not being able to carry this team to a win. Yes, Belichick did another great job of defensive scheming, and Hackett did him no favors - why didn't call for more passes on 1st down early in the game, and the OL didn't play well again, but Zach needed to figure out a way to make something happen and he didn't. I was encouraged after the TD drive, but then he and the offense fizzled again. A good vet QB could've won this game. The problem is where do they get one of those?
No Wentz, no Ryan or competent QB play for that matter. But we'll probly re-sign Luke Falk from a few years ago and start him vs. IND or CLE and get him a meaningless win late in the season
Well, if we had a GM that knew what a good QB actually looks and plays like, perhaps we could find one during the offseason. Too late now. They're terrified of another Mike White episode so they refuse to bring in Boyle who probably could run Hackett's system a lot better.
Saleh in the news conference doesn't sound like they are even thinking about any other option other than Wilson.
