They looked great last nite. The Logo should be kept throughout this season and beyond. Almost reminded me of the Sack Exchange from a bygone era. Maybe they should also breakout the home greens from back then too. Either one is a quantum leap over the garbage that passes for today's Jet Unis.
the uniforms looked great, wish they had done a better job on the logos on the field but i get it with the quick turn around. so many jets fans are going to blame the uniform for the injury because we for the most part are silly like that. i agree they need to be the permanent unis at this point and should get the kelly green back as well. those 80s unis were the best this sad franchise has ever had.
I say we keep these uniforms instead. They made them look good last night. Their official helmet is average looking, at best.
Last night uniforms looked even better than the 80’s version. Slightly different tone of green and uniform letters seemed crispier - I’m pretty sure eventually these uniforms take over as the regular every week uniforms hopefully by next year. And no Vinny wasn’t wearing a green helmet when he went down …..
I was gong to start this thread if it wasn't already here. I thought the Jets looked awesome in those throwbacks. It looked like my Jets again, the team I fell in love with in 1983. The white facemarks, the old logo, the bright green... At times I thought some of those old names were out there - Tony Adams looked like Erik McMillan, Ruckert looked like Rocky Klever... it was such a great look. I know it is a small consolation after losing Rodgers, but I hope Woody gets his head out of his ass long enough to make these our official unis as soon as possible.
Albert Breer Tweeted this last night and it basically sums up the Jets Uniform situation: "It's gonna be hard to see the Jets in these gorgeous throwbacks tonight, and then have to see them go back to the Walmart uniforms Nike put them in a couple years ago."
