After what the defense (and Garrett Wilson + Xavier Gipson) did tonight, I can't imagine the locker room not forcing the Jets to get a QB who can start.
It’d take a couple weeks to get them going but I wonder how available Jameis or Minshew would be and what the cost would be.
The defense/running looks so legit if you can at the very least get competent QB play. I don’t think Wilson is gonna be up for that challenge. They have to look for a better alternative.
So, basically last year all over again. This time with the added "bonus" of getting to wonder about what could have been.
Adapt the offense as best as possible for Zach. This D/ST showed they can keep them in any game, even against a high powered offense like Buffalo. Only a little offense is needed. Maybe Rodgers can still help Zach and O like a coach. Season isn't over
Minshew immediately came to mind, but someone told me the Colts QB got hurt in the first game so I'm not sure how available he is.
The offense needs to adopt what it was good at last year tbh. Run the ball and do some good play action so zach doesn't need to think too much.
Interesting. I doubt he's a JD/RS guy. And not sure he's much better than ZW from the last I saw of him. And yet they should do their due diligence on him...
Zach isn’t ready to be on the field at all. So let’s make a move and not blow the season, because we have a great overall team and he can’t play. Idc what draft pick we have to give up, just get someone and anyone will be better tbh
There's no way the Jets would do this. The defensive players and players like Hall, Cook, G. Wilson would have a fit and demand to be traded.
idk about demanding to be traded that’s a lot, but they wouldn’t be happy at all and are competitive guys. They would def voice their opinions
