why pass downfield when running game is chewing up chunks of yards? Even Allen is not throwing downfield because Jets D is taking it away
Rodgers was the only check on Hackett being a massive liability, and now he's out. Hackett and Wilson is a duo made in hell.
Well, at least I can go to bed early. I hate myself for buying into this team time and time again. I fucking hope Zach shits the bed so bad we cut him mid season.
Sam Darnold will still be in the NFL after Zach is gone. Hell... maybe even Geno will despite a 10 year headstart.
So everyone with half a brain was saying it was a bad idea to go into the season with a 38 year old left tackle coming off an injury and a backup QB who couldn't keep himself ahead of Streveler on the depth chart. And then Week 1 comes along, the 38 year old left tackle gets Rodgers injured and possibly done for the season, and the backup QB throws a dumb interception. Way to go Joe Douglas, you might just be the worst of them all.
I don’t know how much of the intro/opening lineup they showed on TV but it was pretty amazing/over the top. It’s was flat out cocky when Method Man was doing his spiel, though. Made me feel like the franchise was maybe a little too high on itself. Then this happens.
I also don’t get who told Duane Brown and Mekhi to throw cut blocks on two of the first three fucking passes.
