Yeah, I’m almost sure we won’t go with 7 WRs. Also don’t really know why we need a FB And I also worry about our WR group…GW is great, the rest are B type guys…Lazard an average WR2 and the rest are fringe…if GW gets hurt our group is weak. Davis wasn’t great either and got hurt too much, but he was another solid guy Would love to see us go get a good WR…I’d feel much better running out GW,Good New Guy and Lazard than I would running out GW, Lazard, and Cobb/Hardman Whiffing on Mims and Moore with 2 second round picks is catching up to us
The three big surprises for me here are the 7 WRs, Charles being on the roster and Taylor not, and that they've already placed Moreland on IR, which means that he is lost for the season. I don't think that they will keep 7 WRs on the roster, but even initially, why would they keep Charles over Taylor? Taylor plays STs and he showed a lot more than Charles has ever shown. In addition, I think it was the Carolina game, but it may have been one of the other preseason games, Charles shied away from catching two passes (alligator armed them) because it looked like he was going to take a big hit. IMO that's not the kind of player you want on the roster. I didn't think Moreland's injury was that serious. Either it is, or the Jets still like Hall more, although I can't figure out why. He's slow, and he was beaten badly by the Giants 3rd and 4th stringers the other night. He looked awful.
They could cut Cobb, as he won't have to go through waivers, then bring him back after the roster is "final" and they have placed Carter Warren and JBC on IR.
On Hall, yeah I agree…he has not looked good at all, and I’m wondering what happened because his rookie year he actually did play pretty well…I could be wrong, but I think his first year was under Gase? So maybe the change in coaching staff and scheme hasn’t fit him well? Just curious as to what’s happened with him

Interesting…no one really on that list that makes you go nuts…so they didn’t keep a FB after all…and the P is a surprise as that leaves us without one…I get the handshake deal thinking but man … stranger things have happened and one never knows…
i'm sure they wouldn't have released him if they thought there was a chance he's go elsewhere. he's old and came here to compete for a ring
Morstead and Bawden will be back on the 53 in a couple days. Both vested and doing the team a favor so they can do some roster manipulation.
Both Bawden and Morstead are vested veterans and don't have to pass through waivers. They were the two who were cut for a day in order to get JBC and Warren on short-term IR. They aren't going anywhere, and will be back tomorrow afternoon.

Kuntz was signed to the PS. Great news as guys with his height rarely run the way he can. He needs to fill out as he still looks like a HS/Div 3 prospect... BUT has a lot of upside !
Don't look, but now they have a FB again. At this point I can't quibble with it. I can't think of anyone on the PS other than Tanzel Smart who deserves to be on the roster.
I know JD and Saleh love athletic guys, but he is a 24 old rookie (older than Zach), who sucked in College and seems to be a scrub during training camp and preseason - in spite of his athleticism. To me, I am OK with him as a practice squad addition, looks like he is exactly where he belongs.
