Raiders RT Langston Walker is now a FA after he opted out of his contract, and although he is talking to the Raiders about an extension, the Cardinals, Texans, Chiefs, Vikings, Jags and Dolphins have expressed interest in the mammoth tackle.

i wonder if the jets will take a look at him to replace AC @ RT....lord knows we need someone else there...

Ditto. I dont know how good he could be though since the Raiders O-line left their QB to dry this year.

I'm sure Aaron Brooks will miss him.

Why do we need him at RT.....Clement was arguably our best lineman this year. He was better the D'Brick, no doubt.

No, their is no arguing that anybody was better than Mangold.

D'Brick started off good while Clement didn't. D'Brick tailed off while Clement picked it up later in the season...Pretty even.

I totally agree! I thought Clement was fine for us last year and should be re-signed.

Couldnt disagree more. D'Brick played average all year. Clement was by far better than D'Brick. Clement played extremely well in the run game all year, while D'Brick stuggled. This past season, I would have rather had Clement than D'Brick hands down. Now, for the future, D'Brick is the choice, obviously. But for lasy year, he played no where near as well as Clement.

The weakness on D'Brick was his run game, something we all were well aware of, you sound surprised. But the 1st half he did excellent against top pass-rushers, again, in the 2nd half he tailed off and had some bad games, but that's fine.

Now my argument was never D'Brick/Clement...Just you saying Clement was arguably our best lineman, when infact it was hands down Nick Mangold.

Don't be rediculous. That is like saying you would not want any part of Pete Kendall becuse our line was bad last year. There are plenty of good players that play on bad squads. Corey Dillion was a good example of this when he played for the Bungles.

Clement was fairly solid. If there's anyone that should be replaced on the OL, it's Moore. We need to get bigger and stronger at the guard positions, that was the source of our poor run blocking.

Clement was amazing this year. Barely heard his name, which is good.

I would re-sign Clement. If he isn't our starter next year, he would at least be great for depth

Trade the 1st Rounder for Robert Gallery, that will solve the O-line problems

Tough to compare a RB who actually did very well in his stint as a Bengals compared to A lineman whos been on a horrific line for YEARS.

first- Clement wasnt near the top as far as our O lineman and their years go.....mangold was a pimp, and hands down the best of the 5 starters this year. followed up by kendall. moore didnt have a bad year....and i dont know why people are hating on him here. if anything, id keep moore over clement. id lay our 2 tackles about even with the interior lineman all playing at a higher level than them.

next, this season and playing on that line isnt indicitive of this guys ability or potential. like another guy said kendall isnt a bad lineman because of last year. you cant just lay those things at a players feet.

id like to see clement stay with the team, but for depth, not to start. a 6'8" 350 pounder next to moore next year would put a nice cap on the right side of the line. the wingspan alone is sick. im not kissing this guys ass and calling him the second comming....but i def think its worth the look. worse case scenario, you got depth at OT through FA and not the draft. i doubt the pricetag will be high enough on this guy to make it a very hard choice. (if tangini is looking into this player).

the thing about robert gallery...even as sarcasm, just not amusing.
