I asked this as an off topic in another thread ,but I still wonder. obviously Mangold will ancor the line for years to come. what will we do with this very good center? has he played any other o-line posistion and would we move him?would he want to move?

I believe Teague has played Tackle before, but I am not 100% sure about guard. I think he'll be here as he's versitile (and I can't spell)

Yeah we should definatley keep Teague around for his depth, versitility and experience.

The Jets shouldn't count on being as lucky next year with injuries. Teague is a guy who has played well at center and has played tackle before, a good backup guy to have in case your starters go down.

  6. If he's still around, he'll be strictly depth. Although we needan upgrade at either RG or RT...Teague is NOT an upgrade

Teague = Solid Backup at all positions on the line.

i think he would be a backup across the line. His salary is relatively cheap, hence there is no reason to cut him.

With Teague and Wade Smith, the Jets will have quality depth on the o-line.

What about Adrian Jones? I know he got in trouble this year, but is he history? Prhaps he could be converted to RG?

yea, good enough to be a backup i agree with, not good enough for people to talk about him starting or being a key player. The guy get driven back, if anyone thinks hes a starter theyre kidding themselves. No chance hes better than clement or even adrian jones for that matter
