What would you reasonably like to see the Jets Accomplish in the 2023-2024 season? For me it is three things: 1) A Winning record in the AFC East. I don't care who they beat, who beats them, and if someone beats them twice. Anything less than 4-2 is unacceptable. 2) Make the playoffs. With Buffalo being an elite team, I think demanding the division is too much to reasonably do. A Playoff spot is a must. Which leads to number three... 3) Win one Playoff game.
Getting to the AFC championship game. If Rodgers gets hurt, all expectations are gone. If Rodgers gets hurt because of OL issues, FO heads need to roll.
10-11 wins and a WC. I don't think they take the division from the Bills, but a WC is a must. 4-2 in the division. Sweep the Pats is realistic this year. Split with the Bills and Dolphins Beat the Giants. Even though they aren't a real rival I don't want their fanbase to have any bragging rights with a win over the Jets. Bottom line - win games and make the playoffs and go from there.
Winning the AFC East would make the Jets one of the top teams in the NFL. It's one of the best divisions on all of football. A winning record is definitely an achievable goal. Split with Miami and Buffalo and sweep NE. They definitely need to make the playoffs. Anything less is a complete failure (unless Rodgers suffers a season ending injury early on.) They definitely need to win a playoff game, especially if they have gone field. Good take!
I dont think you trade for Aaron Rodgers just to be happy with a wild card and/or a one-and-done. I want a division title, a playoff game at home
AFC championship appearance. I was always thinking winning the division and a divisional playoff game was good enough this upcoming season, but I want to at least be knocking on the Super Bowl.

At a minimum I'd take being 'win and in' come the final game of the season. Playoff is a crap shoot as we could be decimated by injuries or going to Arrowhead first time out.
