Good news indeed. We are a young team outside QB. We have to show our drafted players that they will be rewarded if they perform. On the other hand, from a football perspective, Quinnen is the anchor of the DL. With our great secondary, we needed our DL intact to be a dominant defense. I wish him a good season with no injury.
I think we all agree that an extension for one of our own stars is a great thing that doesn't happen as often as we'd like it to. Who doesn't like QW? Maybe he did not want hard Knocks to jump on that "hold out peril" storyline as Hard Knocks did last time with Revis. Woody would not want that either.
Quinnen and Sauce almost double-handily destroyed the Cheeseheads last season. When Quinnen wasn't blocking FGs or sacking or smacking Rodgers around, Sauce was batting down his passes. I think Rodgers said to himself "This is the team I've been begging for for the last 15 years". And voila, now he's here.
love it and more then fair for both sides. I was expecting 4/100 so this is pretty close. Q stays a jet and gets his well earned bag
Everyone should be happy. I’m happy. All the fans should be happy, the entire defense is happy, and even more so the offense starting with AR is probably thrilled. AR give us the lead with a minute to go and is up to the D to finish the kill. The only folks that are unhappy are probably the offenses that will have to face him again, starting with the Pats, and the fins, and Josh Allen.
If Clark stayed healthy I think he would have seriously masked that deficiency in our D. He would have played a sort of joker role and would have been awesome to watch. Not really sure what they are going to do after Mosley. Hopefully Kwon comes back. I cannot wait to watch Q and them boys get after it while playing with a lead.
Sorry for not doing it myself, but I haven't been paying attention due to life, and I'm still curious: can someone compare/contrast how this contract stacks up against the other huge DT contracts and/or extensions handed out over the past 6 months or so? I know there have been quite a few, including some record-setting numbers for the position.
